This is a quaint inn. The room we had was the last available so. probably not their best room. It was immaculate and well equipped but was not quite worthy of excellent rating. The bed was supposed to be a queen, but was only a double. There were no black out shades so the room was fully bright at 5:30 am. The bathcroom was nice, small and had a nice shower with fair water pressure and the water temperature was hot. The welcome was nice, but the staff disappeared at 7 pm. Location is in a quiet residential area. Breakfast was nice with good coffee, condiments and blueberry tarts and English muffins. A wide variety of fruits and skewers of ham, turkey and cheese.

We loved our stay at the Whitehall. It was so cozy and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

Rooms were comfy and clean. Air conditioner worked okay which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. We look forward to returning.

Lovely hotel with wonderful decor and quintessential porch rockers along with relaxing living spaces. Morning European style breakfast buffet was just perfect.

The bed and linens were very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was just average; there’s no coffee in the rooms and (red flag for early risers) the first morning coffee was not available in the lobby until 7:30. The second day it was earlier.

Although I understand that it is an old building and a lot of retro fitting to make a comfortable has to occur, but the window air conditioning units are a joke at $400 a night.

This hotel was charming and quaint. We loved the walkability to town. Parking was easy. Our room was cute. It kinda felt like we were walking up the stairs to our bedroom. The main area of improvement would be to jazz up the energy a bit. The staff didn’t particularly engage and it was so quiet (even some music would help!). Finally, it’s the same breakfast everyday, which was just ok.
