Never have I felt so pampered! It is like having a personal valet and a personal chef at your service while staying in a beautifully refurbished historic building. Steve takes great pride in preparing “chef wars” type meals for the guests, he tries to take into consideration your likes and dislikes as he plans your gourmet meals. Maurice pampers with tea, drinks, and ideas for your recreational pleasure! They will even take care of your laundry if you need it! And adding to the ambiance, the other guests gather for tea, pre-dinner drinks, or a relaxing evening in the sitting room in front of the fire. Of course, the area in Carradales, Campbeltown, and the "Mull of Kintyre" is enchanting. I highly recommend taking advantage of this premium B&B.

Steve and Maurice are fantastic hosts--every conceivable luxury and service is smoothly and efficiently delivered to their guests .We were two couples and stayed for 3 wonderful nights--the luxury of the beds are outstanding for a good nights sleep. The sheets are smooth as silk. We all slept soundly. Nothing is too much trouble for this dynamic duo--and Steve is a fantastic chef--every meal is a delight--we loved our stay and highly recommend them to all tourists young and old--its a visitors paradise. So much to see and do. Thanks to them both for a warm and enjoyable stay--you are the best!!!

A real hidden gem of a place, really comfortable bed in a very well appointed room with an amazing view of the Scottish countryside. The breakfast, dining and service were all top notch and the owners are so lovely - with great recommendations and advice on what to see, visit and do in all the surrounding areas. Stayed three nights and had an amazing time here - this place is a must, and the perfect place as a base to spend a few day exploring the beautiful Kintyre peninsula.

We had been so looking forward to celebrating our golden wedding anniversary in Islay and were distraught to be told the ferry was cancelled due to bad weather. We rang the bell of Carradales Guest House hoping that we might spend the two nights we had been supposed to be spending on Islay there. After recovering from the surprise of two strangers appearing unexpectedly at his establishment Maurice and Steve gave us a wonderful welcome. We are believers in our guardian angel and he/she must have been working overtime because our golden wedding celebration was made extra special at Carradales. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed and so very comfortable. Steve and Maurice are wonderful company and Steve is the most talented and passionate chef we have met. The food was utterly delicious, prepared with such care using local ingredients. A very special time for us was made perfect by Maurice and Steve, thank you both so very much.

Visited early May with 2 friends for a meal. The food was outstanding with delicious pea and mint soup to start. The bread was chocolate and date and also delicious. My main was a fish curry with lovely thick tasty sauce and jasmine rice. I happened to go to The Ivy in Glasgow the following day and can say that Carradales fish curry beat it hands down for taste . Absolutely fantastic. My dessert was rhubarb and ginger crumble and friends had lemon posset with homemade biscuit. All very satisfying and finished the meal beautifully . We will return !

Myself and my family had a wonderful time staying at Carradales. 2 lovely well appointed rooms with comfortable bed and wonderful modern bathroom and walk in showers. We where met by owners Maurice and Steve who where the perfect hosts. We choose to have dinner at the accommodation and it didn’t disappoint Steve is a very talented Chef and was certainly restaurant standard food. Our family hopes to return. Thank you Carradales

This wonderful Gem of a B and B is tucked away in the village of Carradale. A stunning building with an excellent bedroom and lovely public rooms. Steven and Maurice are the 2 owners who are very helpful and keep a very clean house. The food at dinner and breakfast cooked by Steven was first class. Would definitely stay at Carradales again.

We just finished a four night stay at the carradale's house. It was absolutely fabulous. Steve and Maurice are the most committed hosts to their craft that we as a group of five have ever experienced. It's honestly like having your own private chef and top notch concierge during your stay. They both kept us laughing and entertaining and went out of their way to make sure everything about our trip was first class. The house is lovely and the rooms are well appointed. The food and wine selection and evening cocktails were wonderful. Honestly can't say enough good about the experience. We hope to return. Thank you for a great trip gentlemen!

Super luxurious stay with excellent facilities and food. From the moment we arrived until leaving everything was thought of and well planned out. The bed was super comfy and the room had everything we could need. The chef is clearly an expert in his field and produced the best food we've ever tasted. A must stop in Scotland
