Rydges Camperdown, an EVT hotel Photos

Staff was mostly friendly, when asked if me and my friend could be on the same floor they said if they had room for it and there was so changed my room. Most of the staff was friendly (have to say, the female staff was more friendly than the male). When I called for a WiFi issue the male front desk responded and he sounded very annoyed and condescending so that was unpleasant. I’m not sure if this is a reoccurring problem but I put my sign out for room refreshing but when I came back the sign was flipped but the room wasn’t cleaned, perhaps someone messed with my sign?? I’m not sure.. Lastly, make sure you have your stuff downloaded or have plenty of data, this hotel says it has free WiFi (spoiler it doesn’t work!! It’s not even slow it just doesn’t work..) But the roots were super clean and first glance was quite luxurious (with a few cracks in quality)

The Location， Cleaness oveall is good. No tooth brush and No bottle provided，and feeling the water pressure of shower is not enough.

The hotel is walking distance to University of Sydney . Thai restaurant , wildcafe cum supermarket , Nandos just beside & opposite hotel , there is a bus stop outside of Hotel. its nice enviromnt to walk around .

Nice hotel

To be honest, I am quite disappointed with this hotel. The facilities are old and have a slight odor. Some staff members have a cold service attitude. They do not provide drinking water or slippers, which is very inconvenient. Apart from the fact that the location is really convenient, there is really no other benefit. I will never try Rydges hotels again. I am very disappointed.

The room was spacious and clean. The location is good, close to the bus station but you need to transfer to get to the subway or train station. We were originally arranged to stay on the seventh floor, but the WiFi was faulty. From the second night onwards, we had to move to a lower floor room to use WiFi, but the reception was better near the door. The hotel was sincere in offering one day's breakfast as compensation. The bathroom is also very large, but the shower screen is too small. After showering, water will splash to other places, which is a bit inconvenient. It would be better if a shower curtain could be provided. If the destination is near the hotel, this hotel is a good choice.

Super shady shop. First time to come across this. My credit card was deducted over 100 Australian dollars for no reason. Too bad. Two days of communication still no results. It's a scam.

The waiter's attitude was very friendly. I needed the hotel's help to solve the problem due to separate orders. The hotel responded quickly and made the transition smooth. Thumbs up! There is nothing picky about the location of the hotel, close to Sydney University, but the price is a bit expensive. 

Although the hotel is far from the city center, there is a bus stop at the door, so transportation is quite convenient. The sanitation and facilities are good. The only drawback is that the breakfast is too expensive.
