Galaxia Boutique Hotel

Very good breakfast. Clean bathrooms and excellent location of hotel. A little noisy in the corridor -doors could be better damped. I would recommend this place to aynone.

The hotel is definitely more than 1 star ⭐. Clean room. Fresh Towels everyday.staff were lovely. Paid daily for breakfast which was good value. You could eat as much or as little as you wish. Clean hotel.nice bar. Near the beach. Pool was also lovely.

Arriving at the hotel made me realise that the photos were definitely misleading. The hotel room was so hot with only a fan and the bathroom had no door at all. The room was dirty with long black hairs everywhere. The shower had a stench coming from the waste which I can only describe as the smell of sewage. We opted for bed and breakfast which after seeing the room it was no surprise that the breakfast was just as bad. We tried the next day to see if maybe it was just bad kitchen staff that day but it was the same. Old and run down. The location is great so if your looking for a holiday that is good for location but are happy to stay is what is more like a hostel then go for it. But if you want somewhere clean with a good service then I’d advise to go elsewhere

Staff were friendly and helpful and we paid for breakfast which was pretty good for the money. Had really big continental options and small hot food section. We did, however, find problems in the room the main one being the cockroaches. We had three in total during our 5 night stay and one even crawled on me, they were also nearly impossible to catch or kill. The other problem was the shower as the bit that holds the shower head on the wall was broken so we had to hold it ourselves. No air con but that was expected when we booked the hotel. Overall, stay would've been fine if it wasn't for the cockroaches.

Dont be fooled by the fancy photos, this place is a dive! The room we were given was not anything like the photos on the website at all. The shower tray was cracked, the door handle was hanging off, and from the balcony you looked down onto a derelict buliding! It smelled of sewage, it was more like a hostel room to be honest. I asked to change rooms to one of the ones on the website and they did let us, BUT the receptionist was SO RUDE !!! no customer service skills at all! Breakfast was 8 euros and all we could eat was a croissant as the rest looked grim. No one manned the bar, and when I asked the receptionist to get someone she told me to go look in the dining room for someone!!! Yes its close to the beach, and shops (those that are not shut down) on the bright side the pool was clean and tidy and peaceful, water was so cold thought that you can't breathe when you get in ! the best place to eat is the Jamaican Bar - friendly people unlike everyone else we encountered!!
