The hotel is similar to a three star hotel but is very economical for the prices it offers. Best part was the morning breakfast buffet. They have a cook who carefully prepares omeletes and quesadillas, definitely recommend the chicken chipotle quesadillas. Buffet may not be included so you may want to double check to be sure. The living quarters were basic as well. You will have a security box, closet, small tv. They commonly clean every morning, if you don't want it to be clean you can place the do not disturb packard. Everything in the room is white, you will have a decent view of the buildings around, but the view is relaxing. Btw, it's advised to secure your belongings if you have a suitcase, this logic would apply any hotel you go to, better safe then sorry. Staff were very nice, everyone within the buffet mostly speak perfect english, but the cleaning ladies were not able to. Just something to be aware of. *** If you love starbucks, they have one at the entrance. They can't make a Barbie Frappuccino but they have most drinks similar to the aiports. I did not go to the pool of gym due to frequent travel to Xcaret. This is a hotel morentowards those who do travel versus the cost of an all inclusive. Overall, this hotel is budget friendly and the concierge/staff were very kind. Defintely worth the considering. FYI, you want to run the water for a little to get it hot. Its more between hot and warm, they could update the shower heads. Bht they give you plenty of towels they have a blowdryer aswell. Also, outlets may be an issue in the single rooms, the family rooms are well equiped. Close to the airport aswell, the drive is around 10 minutes.

I was mistaken about the location and thought I was booking the Krystal Cancun hotel which is located a few miles away in the beach. However the Krystal Urban is a sister hotel and had a free round trip shuttle to take guests over and let them stay all day enjoying the beach and pools. The room service was very friendly and prompt. The breakfast buffet was good, however we felt invisible because the waitstaff completely ignored us if we asked for coffee. We finally asked the manager and he acted completely bothered. Don’t even bother to ask for cream either cause you will never get it. The dinner menu prices we very reasonable but 3 nights in a row they didn’t have the ravioli nor the brownie with ice cream. The chicken soup, spaghetti and especially the lemon cake were delicious !!! The pool is super small. The picture makes it look larger. The staff was very friendly at the front desk, room service and the Starbucks.
