BACK YARD (lower level): go through another gate to venture further down the property towards the lake to a separate fenced in area with natural landscaping and cool boulders. Kayaks and a paddleboard can be found here, as well as a unique spot to hangout under a tree for a different view of the lake. A popular spot for birdwatching, and it is common to see a fox or two wandering by. LAKEFRONT PROPERTY: our property reaches all the way down to the lake on a tranquil cove, where turtles, ducks, and local deer hang out. Great place to swim, or put in a kayak or paddle board. If you feel like venturing a little further out of Startzville, head over to "The District on 46" to shop and eat. Don't miss eating at an owner favorite, "The Screaming Goat," and check out Dry Comal Creek Vineyards, all around 20 minutes away. If you want to tube on the Guadalupe River, River Road is around 35 minutes away. If visiting New Braunfels or Schlitterbahn is on your agenda, plan on driving around 40 minutes.
