Boutique Hotel Esplanade

We had the most incredible stay at the Esplanade Boutique Hotel in Paestum, Italy! As someone who's always on the go due to work, we've stayed in some fantastic hotels worldwide, but let me tell you, this place was on another level! The hotel's beauty is just breathtaking, perfectly blending with the natural surroundings of Paestum, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere. And can we talk about that enchanting scent? It was like being in a fragrant paradise, making my stay even more magical. Cleanliness is a big deal for us, and Esplanade nailed it! Their 24/7 cleaning service kept everything spick and span, and we’re genuinely impressed with how spotless our room was. Now let's talk about the food - exceptional! The culinary experience at both Esplanade and its sister hotel, Savoy, was top-notch. They take pride in sourcing most of their ingredients from their own agricultural estate, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality. We must say, their rose wine, Vetere, was a delightful surprise, and we couldn't resist bringing some bottles back home with us… our luggage may have been a bit heavier because of that! 🙈 Said that, you must not miss the opportunity to indulge in a wine tasting at Azienda Agricola San Salvatore Oh, and don't get us started on their beach club - simply spectacular! 🤩 But the real highlight was the hotel team. Every staff member made us feel like a valued guest and, more importantly, at home. A special thanks to the reception crew: Mario, Siham, Francesca, and Isabela. And, to the F&B champs: Tatiana, Pasquale, and Franco. The staff's genuine friendliness and attentiveness truly made our stay unforgettable.🧡 Downside, we must admit, leaving was the hardest part! It was tough to say goodbye to this vacay and return to the real world. All in all, the Esplanade Boutique Hotel is a true gem among hotels. Stayed here for one night after having visited Paestum and the San Salvatore winery that belongs to the family of the hotel owner. Apart from the chemical smell probably from cleaning I have only positive words for this establishment. It feels like newly renovated, kind of stylish (not all my taste, though) with a nice garden and swimming pool. A small downside is that the beach is 10 minutes away, but a beach club belongs also to this hotel. Breakfast is good especially by Italian standards. The hotel has conference facilities and space to host weddings (there was one when I was there). Next door is a 2star restaurant, but there are also other choices. Overall I would certainly come back.

Esplanade Boutique Hotel. From start to finish our whole holiday has been amazing. The Hotel is so welcoming and the staff are exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they all looked after us so well. Thank you! I think we managed to meet them all!! Including the chefs which was such an extra bonus. The food was amazing in fact some of the best we have eaten. From towels for the loungers to the cleanliness of the whole entire place, I was so happy that our niece chose this hotel to stay. The decor was perfect and each corner had some amazing artwork that was exquisite and unique. The whole aroma of the place was divine and led to us buying many of their home fragrances. A nice reminder of our wonderful visit. Our room was amazing and the views were stunning. Overlooking the sunrise and sunset in the hills. Everything was cleaned twice daily and fresh linen and towels changed daily too. What more could you ask for?! We took a trip to the hotels beach club 93, which again was truly wonderful. We were even lucky enough to see a bride and groom having photos taken. From bottle water at our loungers to lunch at the club everything was just perfect. The shuttle took us to and from the hotel no problems at all. I believe the walk is not far, however we chose to use the shuttle service. Again from leaving the hotel on trips to returning we were always greeted with the most lovely welcoming and goodbyes. Just those little things that made it even more special. We chose to eat at the hotel for lunch and dinner on numerous occasions due to the food being so very good. From steak to pasta dishes we were spoilt for choice. The dining room was so luxurious and welcoming. We were often in there three times a day and it really was something. Breakfast was also superb. Serving continental to hot including wonderful hot drinks. Loved the cake that they served also. What a treat to eat all were made fresh, they were delicious. I have and will continue to recommend this hotel to everyone. I have had the most amazing holiday with all my family. We were a group of 10. In fact it was by far the best holiday I have been on in my 50 years.! The spa is gorgeous and all 10 of us spent the afternoon together having treatments and being pampered. It was amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel and all its sister businesses enough. The adjoining sister hotel Savoy was gorgeous. The beach club and the farm estate is definitely a must to visit all belonging to the same family. It’s so inspiring to see a family business thriving like this. Catering to everyone’s needs and taking the time to interact with their customers. We spoke daily to the lovely owners and it was so lovely to hear their suggestions of places to go and visit to make our stay even more memorable . Just to take that time was something special. We spent a week at this location. Shared the time between Savoy and Esplanade Boutique Hotel. May definitely recommend both of them. Esplanade has more of a personal touch. The service is top. Hotel’s design is amazing, each single corner is a masterpiece. And the territory is extremely beautiful and very well groomed. We had difficulties with Wifi in one of the rooms, was hard to connect sometimes. But overall we are very happy with the stay and would like to go back some day. Plus hotel has a beach club, which is nice and fun. Has cabanas by the restaurant and nice sunbeds by the sea. Staff provides free towels. Definitely recommend also the restaurant there. Looking forward to be back one day.

Highly recommend to everyone to come to Paestum and experience all the beauty that the city can offer! Hotel Esplanade, Beach bar 93, La Dispenza, the vinery, our favourite Vetere, mozarella, and many more is waiting for you! Thank me later!

This hotel is an event factory and is geared almost exclusively for events. Ordinary guests are very much second class citizens. The vents totally dominate the hotels operations. The pool was closed for events on three of the four days we were there and the restaurant was taken over for an event even though we had a dinner reservation there. Reception staff are totally disinterested in ordinary guests. Noise from events is excessive and there were fireworks on most nights
