DoubleTree Cape Town - Upper Eastside was a wonderful experience! The hotel was spotless, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The location was convenient for business meetings, and it’s just a short drive to major attractions.
The room was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped for a productive stay. The amenities, including the gym and restaurant, were excellent. I really appreciated the delicious breakfast and, of course, the signature warm cookie on arrival! Highly recommended for business travelers and anyone looking for quality service and a comfortable stay in Cape Town.

Expected more from this chain. Clearly, I was setting myself up for disappointment. No facilities to review. Had to walk 100m from the lift lobby to the taxi stand.

Hotel was lovely but the drive over, in the evening, was really sketchy and I heard after that this is common for the area. Couldn't ask for more once we were in the hotel but location-wise, with a little kid, I don't think I'd stay there again.

Staff was kind and helpful. The hotel provided a shuttle to the Waterfront shopping area throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant.
