Brilliant free city shuttle and little “extras” like a private cinemas and unrivalled views make Pepper Club the place to stay in Cape Town.

Exceptional! Had an amazing stay,breakfast and dinner  was awesome. Some of the workers were very nice and welcoming.

What sets Pepperclub Hotel apart from its competitors in the same range is the people who work there. From the minute you step in until you leave, they welcome you with open arms, look out for you and make every bit of your stay pleasurable and comfortable. To Ndumi, Luke, Colin, Libona, Jason, Ethan and all of the staff working there, you are doing an excellent job! As a solo female traveller, I truly appreciated how you looked out for me. The daily shuttle to and fro to V&A waterfront (every 2 hours) and to Camps Bay (twice a day) made moving around easy. The room was well-cleaned and maintained. Location-wise, it was a short Uber ride from any tourist hotspot in the city. I would highly recommend Pepperclub Hotel to anyone looking for a hotel that truly takes care of its guests.

Lovely stay at Pepperclub - recommended. We chose to celebrate a big milestone in South Africa to create some very special memories. We toured from Joburg, through Nambiti to Durban and then onto Cape Town, and we booked Pepperclub to have a pampered end to our trip. The location is great, near Bo Kaap, local markets and safe to walk around. We had no problem getting where we needed to go. The hotel is very clean including the communal areas, gym and of course the rooms. However, housekeeping was more 4* - simple requests like extra blankets needed to be chased, and the turndown of the room happened every day but was inconsistent (sometimes the bathroom was cleaned and restocked, sometimes not). Similarly, the service was inconsistent even through the reception/concierge was always well staffed - Godfrey always greeted us enthusiastically, and there was another duty manager that was very diligent and followed-up well. However, when Godfrey was not on shift the welcome was more muted, and the staff on reception weren't exactly warm and not always efficient. Restaurant staff were always very warm and friendly. Breakfast was great - with good selection of buffet and a la carte options served swiftly. Lunch options were good too, and room service was efficient. Spa was excellent with very good massages and treatments. The Gym is good, though a little small, and for clarity the pool is not heated (but is beautiful). We didn't get a chance to try the private Odeon cinema, but they only had older movies not the newer ones found at public Odeon cinemas. Great views of Table Mountain and Lions Head from the rooms. The hotel were able to grant our special requests of early check-in, inter-leading rooms and they dressed the room and provided cake and bubbly to celebrate our anniversary - lovely touches. You won't regret your stay, but you may not be compelled to stay again.

A beautiful hotel, centrally located with easy access to sight seeing locations and shopping. The staff were kind and friendly and the service excellent! Would definitely return again for a little staycation.

The overall experience was good, friendly staff and good installations, we liked the breakfast and the gym, also great views to the table mountain and lions head from the room and the pool. Location wise also great, walking distance to most things in the region. However, some structural issues should be mentioned. The windows are old, without proper noise isolation - they even open fully which is unusual for a hotel. We could hear the wind blowing very loudly, also the music from clubs around there during the night. The bathroom has a major design flaw and every shower unavoidably results in a completely wet floor. Despite that, room was very cozy and comfortable.

Overall the stay was great, but finding mould in the in the vent in the toilet was an uncomfortable surprise. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were extremely friendly; however one staff member would sing and speak really loudly to no one in particular while tending the bar.

I really liked the hotel, the three days were wonderful!! The breakfasts were superb!! I recommend this hotel in Cape Town!

The Pepperclub 5-star hotel offers everything that makes life better. Located in the city center, and thanks to the free shuttle bus, you can quickly get to the waterfront. Great service, which I used every day. My luxury studio made my stay very comfortable. Unfortunately, the large terrace was unfurnished, and there was a major construction site opposite. Nevertheless, it offered a direct view of the impressive Lionshead and Signal Hill. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of something for everyone. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating.
