This hotel is a black shop. When we checked in, the hotel staff stole $1,000. The hotel pretended to call the police, and then the local police covered them up. We stole it on Saturday and said it would be dealt with on Monday. When we left here, because our trip was going to the next country, 1,000 US dollars was stolen from us and affected our trip. We had to wait to come out. Ctrip customer service told us to leave and they would contact us to deal with it, so we left, and then Ctrip said no to deal with it. , Don't book a room on Ctrip in the future, they are a group, and they specifically cheat us Chinese.

Only one Aircond in the lounge to be shared with 3 rooms it was so hot I can’t sleep every night. No conditioners and not enough soap. The bottom of my bed the metal bit was coming off and could’ve cut into my leg . My room os like sauna

The first room we got was smelly and very small and poor. Hence we offered to upgrade and pay more for a slightly bigger room but the same bad condition. Sometimes there is no electricity in the morning, no Wi-Fi, no breakfast even though we paid for it. We didn't feel like they cared if we were happy or not. I do not recommend.

The staff is friendly and the service is great. The rooms are comfortable and very well equipped. It is very peaceful and safe. The breakfast was great. A nice selection to choose from. Location great!!!

everything was great i love the location, the room was lovely and spacious, wifi good, lovely staff, lots of nice outside seating, and the location is amazing i could walk everywhere i wanted to go - there are many shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in walking distance

We arrived on the 19th Jan to a party at the lodge. We were checked in ok, then headed to our room the whole passage smelt of smoking, when the got the room we got a shock. Someone had been lying on the bed and had been smoking. the bathroom sink was dirty as well as the sheets. we opted to check out, we couldn't find anyone , the gate keeper didn't speak English. in total we spent 30mins and booked elsewhere. our agent contacted the owner on numerous occasions until she blandly accused us of lying and was no longer interested in talking to any of us. So basically, Karen scored 3 nights fees without delivering any service.

Lovely rooms with nice decor. However our stay was not as advertised. Bell at front gate does not ring and eventually on arrival we had to call the reception who didn’t answer for 20 minutes. Very annoying. No offer to help with luggage to room. Breakfast was terrible. Hardly anything to eat and staff constantly running to the shops to buy eggs or replace rotten onions.when breakfast did arrive it was slapped on a plate and cold. We eventually gave up on breakfast and went to the gorgeous coffee shop on the corner. Pool freezing cold and very murky and dirty with nowhere to sit comfortably in the sun so we couldn’t use it. No cushions put out on chairs and chairs broken. They only cleaned up after a few days when a few more guests arrived. Garden tools left lying around everywhere. The unit ran out of electricity 2x when and we had to call someone to buy more. No soap or complimentary shampoo etc in bathrooms. No milk in fridge for coffee, no bottled water. Not surprising that this guest house had plenty of accommodation available in December holidays. Such potential but sadly lacking and certainly not a 4*.

Windows and room lighting in the top room that I occupied need to be improved maybe add extra windows, the place is too dark Fewer staff seemed available to assist guests on my arrival day had to call the guest house number to get access

money was stolen from us in this hotel. one of the staff. $3,000 was stolen. the hostess yelled at us that we were to blame. Do not under any circumstances stay at this place. you will be robbed and then shouted at you. we called the police, the hostess screamed. there are no surveillance cameras and there is always no electricity. worst and dangerous place in cape town
