The room is different than you describe online.
Services are really poor, staff attitudes were so bad for any hospitality standards.
I rarely gave negative comments towards hotel booking, but I am really unhappy this time.

The room is bright, and the window of the room (including the bathroom), although not facing the sea, still has a view of the neat lawn and the sea. Not to mention restaurants and the beach just steps away. A peaceful sea. Reminder: The restaurant must be reserved in advance!

truly amazing, however spoiled by a maid walking in on us without knocking and then a mix up with rooms, saying we only booked one night instead of the 2 we actually had booked. otherwise would’ve been a perfect stay!!! Breakfast was amazing and the spa is stunning!! The issue got sorted with a simple apology which makes me feel like it wasn’t taken as seriously as it should, due to this we never had our room made up and simply a sorry doesn’t seem to cover the lack of privacy we then felt for the rest of the stay.

We had an amazing stay in Lodge 3 right on the beach, from start to finish our stay was Magical, welcome snacks and very comfy furnishings, the private hot tub overlooking the sea was the icing on the cake and a lovely breakfast hamper delivered in the morning with everything you need for a delicious breakfast. The sun was shining, we felt like we were in the Caribbean with the beautiful turquoise sea. The Spa facilities were great, towels and robes provided. A massage was just the ticket, came out very relaxed ready to laze by the pool. Lunch in the Spa was delicious.

Outstanding experience! The team were incredible, the location is second to none. Food and spa phenomenal too. Can’t wait to come back. Staff were excellent. I don’t know all their names; Ollie & Sam took fabulous care of us. Cara, Sahara and team were amazing on reception, and the restaurant staff were brilliant.

My two night stay got off to a bad start when the blonde, bejewelled receptionist (Jamie-Lee) welcomed my arrival with all the warmth and courtesy that is better suited to the prison service than an upmarket hotel. Having immediately demanded various card payments her froideur was maintained as she completed the check in process in her brusque, perfunctory manner. Perhaps Jamie-Lee feels the important job of hotel receptionist (and restaurant server) is beneath her? Everything improved from that moment onwards. The room had a wonderful Bay view, restaurant facilities are numerous and varied, the spa and pool area is popular without being overcrowded and the other staff members are friendly, helpful and very competent (in stark contrast to Jamie-Lee).

Unbelievably riding roughshod over nature everyone and everything for nothing more than misguided greed. UPDATE Thanks Andrea Jones for sharing this! Typical “We will do what we want attitude from these disrespectful muppets “ Can't believe it but Carbis Bay Hotel have submitted another application to retain the concrete structures and fencing 😡How many more times are the Council going to consider an application when the Enforcement Notice has still not been carried out. All this inspite of the fact that at the meeting for the last application it was highlighted how dangerous leaving these structures in place would be in light of eventual natural cliff erosion. Why won't the Council carry out their powers to undertake the work and bill the applicant under the Enforcement? Absolute mockery of the planning system. Application number PA25/01226

Amazing location, great staff, very welcoming, choice of restaurants, sauna, pool. We used it as a base for 3 (extravagant) days walking SW coast path, nowhere better so far. Would be keen to return, dolphins performed during breakfast...
