After staying at the pods for a weekend, I was left feeling a mixture of feelings… Positives: Upon arriving, we were sent a code for our pod lock keys and were able to access our paid-for log cabin and hot tub without any unnecessary confrontation with receptionists or other staff. The facilities at Pod’s on Broadway were fantastic for couples or smaller families with younger children. Hot tubs (if booked), fish ponds, and pool tables were on offer, with very accommodating accessibility. The overall surrounding area was close to historical sites such as the Laugharne Castle, Dylan Thomas walks, or Pendine Sands beach, which were only minutes from the Pods at Broadway retreat, offering a variety of beach activities, restaurant-quality meals, or historical expeditions for those more interested. Another positive was the cleanliness of the pods and overall maintenance of the surrounding area. I found that everything was spotless, and even small details like pillows and blankets were carefully coordinated and kept in mind (this is something that is missed too often by other companies). The touches made by Pods at Broadway were very much appreciated and made my overall stay a better one to remember. Unfortunately, there were some negatives to my stay that made the experience less pleasant: Negatives: After settling into the cabin, we were hungry and in need of some good food, and when reading the Pods @ Broadway site, we were met with some rather expensive meals (which we paid for as they were just on our doorstep). However, there were few options on the menu, and when we ordered two large meat feasts, we were told to pick them up 30 minutes later from the manor. When arriving at the manor some minutes later, we were not greeted by any staff; the place was deserted, and the wait time for our meals was way over 30 minutes and instead about 50 minutes to an hour. Anyway, when the member of staff brought them out to us, we were left startled by surprise that the pizzas were intact, undercooked, and only had cheese and small pieces of ham on them. We decided not to complain and eat them anyway; however, later on that evening, we ordered large cheesy chips for around £5, which was not a bad price compared to other places in the area, but upon receiving them, I was met with 10 wedges and not a large amount of chips. Again, we decided not to complain, as we thought this was only a one-time error. Another issue we had with the site was that limited resources were provided throughout our stay. We called reception for new bin liners and toilet roll, as there were three of us and we were staying for three days; however, when calling, we were integrated by the receptionist about why we needed more toilet roll (bare in mind that there were three of us during this stay). Luckily, we battled through and were asked to collect them from reception. Again, this took longer than anticipated as reception was unmanned and the member of staff was upstairs on the rec

Amazing place to stay Peaceful, everything you need Hot tub was lovely all set up on arrival We cooked a full meal in the pod with ease Only problem we had was didn’t know which pod we were staying in, had to go to reception to find out And I think “sea view” is a bit far fetched Definitely would stay again

What beautiful scenery and very good accommodation. I did use the hot tub. It seemed to be well managed and checked ever day. Also managed to explore the Gower peninsula, Caswell Bay , Rhoselli beach, not to mention learning about Dylan Thomas. Couldn't get a booking for Brown's Hotel unfortunately. The restaurant at Dillons was very very good.

A fantastic last minute overnight stay. Our pod was perfect + so comfortable + clean. The staff were lovely, helpful + friendly. We ordered our evening meal + ate outside. The pizzas were out of this world. We’ll definately go back. Highly recommend.

Facilties were warm, but the pods are small and only suitable for 2 people - the extra double bed would make it very tight. The facilities were fine, thought eh lack of any tea or coffee or soap in the pod was a bit poor given the price - and the fact that if you stayed in the hotel you would get these. Access to hotel was great and the staff were very responsive. Nice location, though it is a walk on non pavemnted raods to get into the village.

Booked to stay here 16th December through ***********. We had a phone call on the day of our stay to cancel it as they said they had issues with the boiler so couldn't accommodate our stay. However, we later had an email from *********** saying they had overbooked the accommodation. Disappointingly we are still waiting for a refund! Despite multiple messages they still haven't sorted our refund and have blamed it on a variety of reason and are now blaming ***********. We are now having to go through our bank to sort the refund.

Nice little cabin for one or two (defo not four) lovely and clean. Tiny fridge so not good for a family. Didnt have a hot tub but was still £130 a night which was not warranted. tiny bit of decking overlooked by everyone else (9 pods) and quite a bit of noise from other pods close by. Only one worth renting would be the one at the top of the site on the right hand side so you get sun all day, are a bit further from others and noone should walk past your area. Very nice food at main house. Good parking
