Clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was generous and served hot. The takeaway food was varied competitively priced. The bar was friendly - we were there midweek and out of season so there was no entertainment but we were tired in the evening after exploring during the day and watching sunsets in the evening.

Great place for a short stay. Clean, functional. As other reviewers have suggested, even though over a bar, no ambient noise. However, if you are a poor sleeper, don't get a room at the front, over the busy main road. Personally, I am not a fan of continental breakfast, but there seemed to be a great range of cereals and other items. They very kindly made me poached eggs and my husband beans on toast, which was much appreciated. Coffee is excellent too. We'll be back. Great value too, in these mad times.

We booked into Room 1 (triple room) and at first glance it looked lovely. They layout is cute and the kid loved the ‘upper bed’. It was a really warm day so we were surprised to find the heating on which made the room too warm. Luckily the window opens but in exchange for cooler air we got the noise from the busy road which runs in front of the house. The overall cleanliness is ok, but the shower especially could use a deep clear. The shower is nice and big but there’s next to no water pressure - a trickle is more like it.
