Hotel Summer Frente Al Mar

The experience was a mix of both positive experiences and areas of opportunity, in the positive aspects the service provided by the staff was great, kudos to the restaurant staff as they were very welcoming and friendly with us. Reception, a couple of things to mention: We had a delay on our check-in due to the room having some issues related to the door, we were requested to wait for 15 minutes after the 15:00 check-in, and we did, after this time I had to reach back to the reception to check if the room was ready, still, had to wait for another 15 minutes. It was a total of 30 minutes out of schedule from the initial check-in due hotel's fault, we arrived with more than an hour of anticipation. There was nothing but an apology, not even a slight interest in offering compensation for the wait time, which could have been a plus in the customer service experience. On the other hand. we had several technical issues entering our room, as everytime we where off the room for a while the card wouldn't work, this was a consistent inconvenience in every single day, at the point that at our last 2 days staying at the hotel we directly reached reception to get the card fixed as we were already tired from previous days to reach the 5th floor for our room and then having to go down to reception to report the issue with the card, reach 5th floor again and AGAIN visit reception because the card wouldn't work, this could have been activelly addressed with either a room change or a technical review, however, it surprised us that instead of the receptionist offering at least an apologize we were told it was because WE used the card on another electreonic device, which never happened, another thing to point out was that at their main elevator someone popped a pimple at the elevator's mirror, and that disgusting pimple stayed there for more than 4 days, which indicates that the facility cleaning is not optimal, following this though at our room the blackout was stained at a corner, and even with having staff cleaning the room that stain remained from day 1 untill we left, probably someone spilled a drink at the balcony and it dropped at the blackout. Positive things: Restaurant service and overall attitude from the staff, ubication was good, close to the beach and with a nice view. AOO: A more customer-oriented thinking, at least showing interest in going the extra mile with their customers, cleaning.

The attention at the Front Desk was always excelent,the housekeeping the same, the kitchen at breakfast,very good,not like for dinner,We tried the first night and I dislike the service in the amount that I never went back.

Is absolutely not like on the pictures at all, front desk acts like if they are making you a favor by letting you stay at the hotel, when you ask for some help or information the respond in a cold way and not helpful or friendly, the brakefast bar on the pictures doesn't exist, you seat down and some one comes and ask what you want for the Free breakfast and you got to wait for the food to come over, is hard to know what to eat if you are not Colombian or person because you don't know most times the name of the breads etc , nothing comes with ice on the restaurant because the only place they carry ice is on the bar by the pool and that time that I ask for s cup of ice the ice truck didn't delivered that day dear good lol any way I would not recommend this hotel is just they have a way of doing things that just doesn't cut it for me I'm no been hard on the place just the management is all wrong,,,,,the ladies from cleaning and restaurant are very nice oooooh I forgot my wife Saw a small live roach on our room 505, another thing if you order food to be delivered you got to meet the delivery person outside because they are not allowed on the reception 😕

I don’t even know where to start. … The staff is not properly trained. The hot water is very cold. Breakfast is not really good. It’s cheaper than the rest of the hotels in the area so you get what you pay. The bed was very comfortable though. It’s ok but I will not stay there again.

Liked - was close to the airport and dining. Did not like - the room location, the window view was of an office building and alley way where the lights were on all night so difficult to sleep.
