Very expensive but it is deluxe. Right now the hotels big problem is the DJ bands playing across the street and there is no way to sleep. They played past 130am. Appears that this is a current issue for this high end hotel and upsetting guests who want to sleep. We ended up changing rooms which is a major pain. Got a smaller outdated room and no lower rate. Guest services/concierge is truly amazing. Incredible service. Bellmen as well.

the coconut lemonade is the best thing here! overall, it was a great experience. lots of history in this hotel... we had a great time. the breakfast buffet was very tasty. feels very lux with all the fresh flowers in the lobby and pool area. very clean as well. will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Hotel! Best I have ever stayed at, went with my boy friend and we enjoyed it. Amazing service from everyone in the Staff, Rafael the bellman and Elis with Guest Services were great! Housekeeping on point, turndown service was perfect. Breakfast in the courtyard and the views from the rooftop were perfect! Thank you all! We definitely go back here next time in Cartagena.

The service at this hotel is exceptional, 5 star but it’s the only thing that warrants 5 stars. This place needs a major renovation. There’s a distinct odor of mold in the hallways and five out of the seven days we were there some kind of repair work was going on or the elevator was down or the roof was being worked on etc etc. The food was outstanding but I might take a look at the much more modern Sofitel for the prices they charge here.

I had an amazing stay at the Charleston Santa Teresa Cartagena. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was great although other options were at a walkable distance. I will definitely be back for another amazing vacation.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Excellent restaurant but the only issue was that my room was not ready until 4pm and waited to check in
