The property is beautiful with its modern decor. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The dining options were plentiful. I definitely would love to stay again if some type of transportation option was included.
The hotel is approximately 30 to 40 minutes from the heart of the city where more of the locals live. The problem we encountered was getting a Uber in the morning; no one would accept the ride. The front desk staff would request a taxi, which took approximately 10 minutes to get there. We ate breakfast while we waited.
On days when we scheduled excursions with pickup included, we had to contact them to learn if they would be able to pick us up and all stated we were to far. So we technically had to pay for transportation twice. This is definitely not a reflection of the hotel.
The hotel could offer a transportation service twice a day that could drop you off near the clock tower at 8am and pickup you back up at the same spot at maybe 8pm. This could make them at least more marketable, since they are so far away. We never had a problem getting transportation from the city.
I would love to go back and see if they make one of the adjacent store fronts an indoor pool.

The staff is friendly and honest. I left a dollar tip for the cleaning lady and she left it by the bed stand thinking I had forgotten it. My room is clean, the bed is firm and has good sheets on it, the AC works perfectly. The free breakfast isn't fancy but good enough. It looks like they have fresh squeezed OJ which I like. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is another story. Got some fried fish which was nasty. It had that sickly sweet street vendor flavor and was a little expensive. WIsh the hotel was closer to Manga or Boca Grande but that would drive up the cost. But other than being a ways from the Newport Beach- like section of Cartagena, the hotel is a good value and seems is safe, clean, modern, and quiet.

Great close location to the Shipyard I was working with, had everything I needed, hot water, clean sheets, cold AC and a mini fridge. Perfect for business in the Mamonal area, only 3 mins drive instead of 40 to go to Boca grande

It is a simple, comfortable room. The sector is industrial, the street in front is of high heavy vehicular flow. There are no nearby tourist sites so keep in mind. The attention is excellent. I recommend you ask for transportation through the app because the taxis that have an agreement with the hotel take advantage of too much. There is a toll nearby and in most cases you must go through there which increases the rate. Recommendation for the hotel: I wish the chair for the desk was of the office type, or if you had the option to choose, especially for those of us who must work in that space. Thank you
