Matador Motel

Spent 5 nights here while on business and can't thank the hosts enough for being so well cared for. The room was so comfortable,spotlessly clean and well stocked. It was a treat to have complimentary biscuits and sweets restocked very day too.

We booked into this motel on a cold wet night after finding we couldn’t get into our family home till the next day. We were lucky there was a vacancy and were given a room with a Queen bed and single bed for my 89 year old mum and I. The room was just what we needed spacious clean had a tv with Netflix which we didn’t use but good to know. The shower had a good water flow lovely and hot seperate toilet from the shower and wash basin. The kitchen was well stocked and we made us both a cup of tea. The heater worked well and we were so grateful. The beds had lovely crisp sheets pillows were good height and we both had a good nights sleep.The wifi worked well and on reading the booklet provided about how to use the wifi we were very happy. This Motel is on the main road to Masterton and close to eating places and a super liquor store so it was handy to grab dinner across the road a few drinks couple of doors down so very handy to convenience stores also next door to a Mobil service station.A big thank you to the lovely owners sorry I forgot your names but mum and I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend your Motel to friends and Whanau.

Lovely to stay again, last minute booking, we felt very relaxed, didn't get a chance to use the lovely pool so next time hopefully can stay longer. Comfortable, so clean, hosts were great hosts, communication and wanting to make sure we had a great stay. Comfortable bed.

It was excellent stay, bed very comfortable, all essential things were supplied in the room, plenty of tea coffee etc. Reception was very friendly. Good supply of towels. Showers was good plenty of hot water.

This motel is absolutely spotless and great value for the price. It was a comfortable bed and everything we needed was there for the night. Great service at reception. Highly recommend for great value for money. We arrived late on Waitaingi Day and were made to feel very welcome.

Stayed here for two nights and the accommodation was perfect. The rooms are very clean and the motel is quiet. Rooms were very well equipped with cooking facilities and tv and the bed was very comfortable. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The salt pool was also a lovely bonus! All in all a lovely place and would definitely recommend.
