Troia Residence by the Editory - Apartamentos Marina

Excellent apartment, for a very reasonable price. The apartment has everything you need to spend 5 or 7 days. A large living room with kitchenette, balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the marina, cable television with an excellent image on a 55-inch LG OLED TV. Excellent room, very spacious bed, perfect mattress. The entire house has air conditioning and WI-FI. Finally, the car is parked in a spacious underground garage of the building. I would just like to point out that the image that the system portrays of these apartments does not correspond to reality. The correct name of these apartments is "Troia Residence - Apartamentos Marina", located on Rua da Aroeira, on Rua da GNR.

I was staying at the hotel from the 20th to the 23rd of June with my family. I requested two romantic packages and a honeymoon package. Both confirmed by the hotel, the romantic one was placed and the honeymoon was never placed, even though we had to go to reception twice to request it. I ended up giving up and requesting cancellation, even though it was confirmed they still charged me. Reception staff with little experience and unfriendly. At no point were they able to try to find out how the stay was going. Breakfast like a lot of confusion. The only thing worth highlighting is the work of the animators, always interacting with the children and inviting them to the events.

We stayed from June 25th to 26th, 2022 at the Ácala apartments. We were well received at reception and had the opportunity to check in before 4pm. The apartment had good space, with a terrace. There were some ants in the kitchen area and the floor had some crumbs, but nothing that made us complain. In the late afternoon, after the beach, we went to take a shower, but the water didn't heat up, in either of the two bathrooms or in the kitchen. We called reception, who sent the maintenance technician to look at the boiler. The technician was unable to resolve the problem and said he would notify reception to change our room. But they didn't care and we didn't have hot water. At check-out, after waiting for some time to speak to the supervisor and requesting the complaints book, what we were offered was 30% of the reservation value and attention during the next stay, if we stayed there in the future... I think that Hot water is a minimum in a group of 4-star luxury hotels/apartments. Our stay didn't go very well.
