Very nice value for the money respectively for the points. I am just staying for a couple of weeks in order to accumulate more nights for my Hilton Lifetime Diamond status . Well, this hotel is apparently the last property in the world that costs only 5000 points as a redemption rate. I liked the place , the immaculate cleanliness and the good climate when talking to the staff. They are proactive and mostly professional. The city itself isn’t anything to write home about, dirty, hardly any sidewalks and nothing I would ever return to unless …. Doing a mattress run for status. Well , nothing to do with the hotel. It’s clean, staff are friendly and nice though you need to speak Spanish fluently in this part of the world or bring a translation app. I liked the spacious rooms although some things like tea and maybe more towels would be good to provide. The hotel hasn’t got a pool, just a jacuzzi, a nice fitness room ,albeit too small, and a hood terrace (with too many tables) to chill out. The only really negative-ish point was the rather monotonous breakfast with no real highlights. I know it’s not the Waldorf Astoria but a bit more variety would have been nice. And maybe extend it to 11 am. 6-10 is just too early especially when you can’t hear your own word from 6-8.30 as the hotel is packed with petrol workers that are being accommodated and not really taciturn and the most considerate people. It’s like a workshop cafeteria rather than a restaurant. A special section for vip guests would be thoughtful. Apart from this it’s a good choice for accumulating HH nights. I might be even back next year . Winning !
