I had a nice stay in the hostel, it just feels like home and everyone was friendly and accomodating. What I really like was the location because it was just close to the beautiful Carcavelos Beach, shops and metro station are also nearby so it was very convinient. Another thing that I like about my stay was the amenities they offer like the kitchen where you can cook your food anytime, they also have a swimming pool, a spacious living area where you can watch tv or just chill with your phone or laptop. I would difinitely recommend this hostel and would probably stay here again on my next visit to Portugal.

The service was good, but the issue of sharing the kitchen becomes complicated because the refrigerator is very small. I believe it could be improved by installing a larger refrigerator, but the kitchen is very clean. The room I stayed in was a good room, however the sink was clogged and the bathroom window almost fell on my head!!!

If you love mold, you’ll love it here! Mold everywhere. You can’t close the bathroom door without smelling a very strong aroma of mold. The beds and floors were clean but the power strips in the room were zip-tied to metal bed posts (what could go wrong). Honestly, if you book here, you will get exactly what you pay for.

They didn’t accept me for my luggage. I requested refund and it was denied from the manager. I couldn’t use the place.

Help yourself hostel has a really late check in at 7pm. When we got there, the room wasn't ready yet. But the staff was very responsive and helped us empty the trash and got us soap, when we asked them. There's a shared kitchen but it's not kept the most clean. Good for a quick one night stay since we had a lot of space for a family of 4. Free easy parking next to the hostel. Kitchen to cook a quick meal. Hostel condition wasn't kept the best with mold in the kitchen and no place to sit in the room so we moved the patio furniture in.

A very nice hostel Staff are very nice, the house is very comfortable. When I come back to Lisbon in the future, I will stay here again. There was a man guest who touched 2 women guests (one is me), and offerred money to ask a third woman guest to be his girlfriend. After we complained to the hostel staff, manager Carol drove him out. After that I extended my stay.

All staffs are so friendly. Very close to the beach. Amazing location. Good cafea and restaurants are around there. Highly recommended!
