Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Sapphire Valley

The amenities of the property are great. The single bedroom rooms have an unusual layout. They also have adjoining doors to another unit. The occupants were loud and we could here every conversation because the adjoing door does not close shut very well. Still enjoyed the time there.

Nice property, but dated. The kitchen is small but very well stocked. Comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved the location allowing us to visit several hiking trails and dining. Only negatives were the upstairs living room, sort of useless, and the limited hot water, couldn't fill the roman tub. Overall, we felt comfortable.

The only problem that we had was the first unit they sent us to was not ready. The bed wasn’t made, the patio to the balcony was open, and there were spiders in the jacuzzi tub. But when staff was notified they rectified the problem. Other than that minor minor and yes I meant to say it twice because it wasn’t horrible. But other than that we had a marvelous time. We will be coming back. It will be me and my woman’s getaway spot. Thanks again!!!!!

My husband and I stayed for 7 days, and there are many amazing things to share. Firstly, the location is superb. Secondly, the resort, though in need of renovations within the next 5 years, is still in great condition, clean, with amazing beds, and the rooms are as described and well-stocked! The front desk was exceptional. I can't say enough great things about the front desk customer service, and the late-night check-in was a breeze. Everything was explained to us perfectly. Honestly, the only feedback I have is that the employees at the Recreation Center and the Community Center need training in customer service. We felt like we were intruders rather than guests; we felt judged, questioned, and unwelcome. There were a few friendly faces, but overall, it was a terrible experience every time we went to the swimming pool, workout facilities, putt-putt golf, or arcade room. The facility, though also in need of renovation, was overall well-maintained and clean. It was purely the customer service at the Rec and Community Center that was lacking. I recommend organizing required customer service training for all employees. I even overheard employees gossiping and complaining about their colleagues, which was highly unprofessional. The employees also appeared to be very unhappy, so it could be an issue with the management of the Rec Center. The resort gets 5 stars, while the Recreation Center and Community Center get 1 star for customer service!

Nice location , but so many negatives . It starts with the photos on the web site , that picture of the lake with the large granite face is not even on site , it's a mile up the road. The units are 1970s dated & they are split units , so if you get a 1 bed suit , it's in the front door and down the steps under the 2 bed unit . The disclaimers that the frontdesk rattled off were ridiculous , we don't manage this & we don't manage that . Bs , your name is on the front sign, so you have a say in it . We were there during the rains that lead up to hurricane Helaena , no one came to or called us to advice us of the rising water at the stream that basically traps you in , thankfully we left at 4am when we could still get out , water at that point was 18 to 24 inches high driving thru . Condition of the unit was sad , don't tell me to call maintenance if I have an issue , do your damn job , walk the units and get crap fixed before people arrive . Very discussed with the entire trip
