To be honest the facilities are great - lovely pool and great terrace to sit and eat your breakfast. The breakfast food was extensive - so well done! The room was average - but clean, so no complaints. The check in staff and breakfast staff were lovely - really welcoming and kind. It's funny though how one tiny bad experience can leave a sour taste in your mouth. I needed to use the iron as we were going to a wedding. I ended up using the iron twice. I was bemused when told I needed to 'book' the iron - I have used irons in hotels/air bnb etc all over the world with no issues and usually you just ask and someone brings the iron and ironing board to your room in a hotel. I was also told I had to use the iron in the back section of the office, I couldn't take it to the room. I was okay with that - just lugged my ironing over and then tried to carefully carry it back over the courtyard later to our room. When checking out, however, I was astonished to find I was being charged 5 euros (it might have been slightly less or slightly more - it was nearly two months ago and I can't remember the exact amount). The same woman was in the office when I organised the iron and when I went to check out - and when I queried the cost of using the iron just kept saying, "It's a service!" or something like that - so no rational explanation of why this was their policy. I think for the two ironing sessions I had to pay roughly $17 Australian which to me seemed a ridiculously high amount for something I felt should have been a free service given the cost of what we paid each night. I was annoyed that the charges hadn't been made clear to me when I requested an iron - at no point was it explained that there was a fee involved. If I had known that I would have done all my ironing in one session. The woman who I booked the iron through was very brusque and not at all welcoming - unlike all the other lovely staff there. This woman would benefit from some customer service training. So would we stay there again? Definitely not. As I said it just takes one bad incident...and it is extremely rare that we ever post anything negative about accommodation we have booked.

Perfect stay at this beautiful agriturismo in Scopello Sicily...you will not be disappointed - the location is perfect - walking distance to the small village of Scopello and to the market and restaurant. Facilities are just beautiful an serene. The views are outstanding - the restaurant on site - remarkable ; you will have to taste for yourself! You will not be disappointed with is agriturismo! The staff is always on point!

Beautiful location for this beautiful property. We rented one of the apartments in the village and everything was perfect. We had breakfast in the hacienda and one dinner. The hacienda (and the restaurant) is located about 500 meters from their rental apartments but it is a nice walk with gorgeous views over the sea and the mountains. The surroundings are stunning. The delicious food is local and home-made. The hosts are very friendly and discreet at the same time. We had a great experience and we will definitely go back there!

I stayed in one of the apartments that is immediately before the ZTL of Scopello. I think I got very lucky and got a really nice one - a very nicely furnished, modern, large loft. No noise, easy parking with a gate. I would say that it's not walkable from the main building (where you have to pay to use the pool, and you need to take your trash when you leave). Extremely convenient to the town, and a great location for visiting the breathtaking Riserva dello Zingaro, my reason for staying in Scopello (get there early so you can park!).
