Hotel Raffael

The greeting from Reception was excellent we came on a motorbike from the UK so was hot and tired she got us cold water to drink while she checked us in and informed us on the local area (town, beaches and hotel). The day we went to the beach the girls on reception asked if we needed large beach towels and an umbrella which was easy to carry on a bike free of charge. The reception area was clean and comfortable. Stefano On the evening shift was very friendly and welcoming often checking in to see if everything was ok. The room was large and clean it had a king size bed and bunk beds which we didn’t need with a large corner balcony with comfortable chairs and a table also a drying rack which came in handy. My husband found the bed comfortable and slept well I found the mattress a little hard. Breakfast was buffet style with the ladies bringing fresh coffee of your choice and they remembered what coffee you had ordered the day before. Again the service at breakfast was friendly and efficient there was a varied selection of pastries, cakes, yoghurts, fruit salad, cheeses, cold meats you could also have a boiled egg and make your own toast from a selection of breads and a lovely selection of fresh juices all of it was excellent, the you could eat in the breakfast room which was clean and comfortable or outside. There are lots of restaurants walkable in the town from the hotel but the hotel serves breakfast only no evening meal. The supermarket is two minutes walk from the hotel and there was a lovely busy beach about a 10 minutes drive.

We had a fantastic experience in this hotel. We absolutely enjoyed every part of our stay. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, and Elisa was incredibly helpful. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast and the coffee was always fresh and lovely homemade. The hotel has a beautiful and traditional, but also modern style with great decoration. The garden has beautiful orange, lemon, tangerine and medlar trees. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for a week there and everything was perfect. Ideal location, very clean and comfortable rooms, optimal service. Special thanks to Tania and the team for being such great hosts. Highly recommended !

Arrived to a very friendly and personal welcome to a perfect hotel by Tanya . We found all staff to be friendly and helpful from reception to breakfast staff. All couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were spotless and bedding, and towels changed every day. Hospitality tray, shower gels. We stayed in rm 204, which had a balcony, but we didn't have a view because of plants and trees. This made it private, but it was dark for us. Breakfast was extensive continental with choices of eggs, toast, meats, cheeses, fresh chopped fruits, fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, and baked pastries and cakes. Especially like the fact they supplied umbrellas and huge beach towels for use for the duration of our stay. The location of this hotel is perfect. Within a 10 min walk to the bars and restaurants. We had a recommendation from the hotel to go to la tankitta, just a few mins from the hotel snd its the best meal we have had so far on our trip.
