The Connaught Inn

this is my second attempt to review this place as my first one must have touched a few nerves, Where the reviews came from is beyond me, this place is the exact opposite these false reviews. I am posting pictures of the "TRIPLE" room we got for our 3 days, 3 single beds pushed in together for 3 adults, if thats what your into thats fine but not for us. There was no room either side of the beds to move, no chair, non existent wifi, pay your own parking, filthy shower, broken bathroom door, just a shambles.

Good points: Good food. Really good dinners. The breakfast was included and was nice. Staff were super friendly. Good pint of Guinness. Plenty of towels. Good location. Bad points: Layer of dust on blinds in bar. The room and bathroom need so much money invested into it. There was a layer of dust on the bed frame. Bathroom was in very poor condition. Paint peeling off in the shower. The fan was so disgusting. Rush on the basin accessories. Toilet seat chipped. Tiles cracked. There was no warm or hot water. It made showering unbearable. We heard other customers the following morning complaining of same. The room was very cold on arrival. It took a while to heat with very dated storage heating.
