Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62 J32)

Very good service, Emma and Merlyn were very kind and always wiling to help with a smile in their face. The food and drinks were great. The room was very clean and comfy. This is our second time and it was still amazing, would definitely come back again.

Our stay at the premiur in has been very nice. The room was very neat and the beds were very comfortable. The food was very good and we did not have to wait long at all. We also had a lovely waitress named Merlyn who was very polite, friendly and very kind.

We returned to this hotel for Easter after having such a lovely time at Xmas. Once again the staff are lovely, the room was large and spotless... So nice that both kids get a bed and not a metal fold out. Love the position of the hotel with so much to do within walking distance. Breakfast is amazing value as the boys eat free... Lovely Carol was there as usual to look after us along with Tiff, who was so lovely and made a point to speak to our boys every day... She even got them some sweets when we left... 2 amazing members of staff who I really hope Premier Inn appreciate. We shall be back again soon

Fantastic hotel, near the location we wanted to see . Great sleep and brilliant breakfast and nice bathroom. Parking is good. Hotel is near everything you need. Will be returning to this hotel on our next trip to this location

Dinner was gorgeous our server Merlyn was amazing and very kind, she was very quick on her feet and made sure we were attended to. Could not have asked for a better server , even let us swap tables after our first one wasn’t suitable. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to everything we needed for this trip. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room and common areas are looking tired and could do with a refit. Lenny Henry couldn’t sleep in this mattress! TV in the room was out of the arc and the bathroom had issues with the toilet and tiling. Thankfully the staff and breakfast make up for some shortcomings.

Check in was lengthy due to only one member of staff serving at both the reception and bar. I was told I could only have breakfast at 1045, which I explained was too late as I needed to check out by 10am, so the breakfast charge was removed as I was told the choice of times for breakfast are first come first served so because I arrived at approx 2100 I was disadvantaged. Entering the room it smelt of stale smoke, even though it was non smoking room. Window was full of mould, marks all over the walls and stains on carpet. Wires hanging down from TV, and pulling back the bed cover there was screwed up tissue and an awful smell of sick! I dont believe the room had even been cleaned! After a 5hr drive, all I wanted was a clean, comfy bed and breakfast I had none of it. WiFi was very poor and didn't either! I'm absolutely disgusted and appauled - I will never return. Wouldn't recommend.
