What a fantastic find. Might be the best value hotel we have ever booked...and we travel a lot. Brilliant setting with two great uncrowded beaches. Three fantastic pools as well. Away from the chaos of the mega construction that is ruining the town proper but close enough to walk there for great seafood restaurants. We were upgraded for free to a one bedroom suite. Wonderul views. Breakfast was top class. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

Nicely decorated room and very comfortable and funcional. The location is not great, it is bit far from the center and even more from the beaches. Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast has some options but the quality is not the best. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant but it is not clear what are the open hours. We tried to get there in the afternoon and nobody was there.

Nice hotel. Quiet, calm. Good location. Very nice staff, ready to help with your questions with a smile. The manager helped with tickets for buses and excursions. And free breakfast. You can choose one dish and one drink from the menu. A few things that made me take off one star: 1) only one towel. And they didn't bring a new one on the second day. It's not convenient with one towel, especially if the hotel is on the coast 2) inconvenient sockets. Even local plugs don't always fit. I had to turn one off to turn on the other 3) our air conditioner didn't work. But they offered to change the room. We decided to stay in the old one and used the fan I recommend this hotel

The last stop of Vietnam travel came to the beautiful Cat Ba Island. Ctrip chose this hotel. You can have a cold drink downstairs and experience the slow-paced life. Very good experience, affordable prices! Facing the sea, I will stay again if I have a chance.

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, the manager upgraded my room to give me a Mountain View with balcony, which was appreciated! He offered to set up tours and a motorbike for me. He also set up my transfer to Ninh Binh. The breakfast was small, but very good! The location is in the main part of town, but you have to walk through a small alleyway to get to this street. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, although it was quite dark. The location was nice and quiet for sleeping and the air con worked phenomenally.

A two-room room on the 4th floor with kitchen, balcony and 2 bathrooms. The room is good but somewhere repair and cleaning is needed. Our bathroom was a jacuzzi to get in to take a shower. Very uncomfortable. The dishes in the kitchen are small, the cups are very small. Only the teapot and the sink that needs to be cleaned in the kitchen. The sponge is old, requires replacement. In the refrigerator smells bad, and it works bad, practically does not cool. The location of the hotel is good, the area is quiet, near the lake. Cafes are in step availability. The hotel has ordered a tour in Langu. Tour from 8 to 17. The cost of 600,000 dong per person. The bus to Nin Bin has booked here. The cost of 350,000 dong. Because of the typhoon, we settled in the hotel for a day later, and although the hotel booking is not returnable, we have compensated for this day. Staff is friendly.

Located in the center of town, it's a family run hotel with clean, large bedrooms. All appliances working as expected (air conditioning, fridge, hair drier). The owner speeks good English and is friendly and helpful. Simple but good breakfast, particularly the 'pancakes' (more like crêpes) made with fresh fruit.
