Very unfriendly staff, dirty pools, to crowded, no place for towel, poor food, they charge you even water for dinner, definitely not recommend, so many good places around here, Slovenia has a lot of good Therme but this one is under average!

Terme Catez is our most beloved waterpark in Slovenia. We visit every year and always have a great time. The pools and waterslides are top experience, the water is termal therefore warm, the food is excellent and the suroundings are beautiful!

My recent experience at Hotel Toplice was far from satisfactory, primarily due to unfriendly staff and several issues. Despite booking a package for two adults and two children with complimentary accommodation, we were charged for cots for both kids, contradicting our initial agreement. The quality of food was poor, pool towels were unavailable, and the pool water appeared dirty. The hotel suffered from a general lack of staff, and it was evident that the premises urgently require a comprehensive renovation, as it seems to have been neglected for at least 40 years. Overall, our stay was highly unsatisfying, and we have no intention of returning. Unfriendly staff, unexpected charges, subpar food, absent pool towels, and inadequate maintenance significantly impacted our experience. We hope this feedback prompts improvements for future guests.

Clean rooms, good food and a lot of fun for the kids. In general, all staff were friendly and willing to help. Pirate ship area for the youngest was drafty and a lot colder than the rest of the winter riviera, had ask the staff there to close some entrances, it being DECEMBER and all. Reception lady could not help us with our overheated room, she didn't seem to care.

Spent 3 nights at the Hotel Terme. No general complaints, just if you mind to pay additional €5,00 per day for a bathrobe - bring your own. Inside pools were too crowded for my taste but that goes due to national holiday that took place at that time. Our kids had a great time, and so did we.

This is our third time to go to this hotel because we are delighted with the cleanliness, the food, the location. This time there were girls from the national team of Slovenia and Austria in the hotel and all the food was subordinated only to them, the regular guests were given a very bad selection of food. On the last day of our stay those teams left the hotel and the excellent food continued to be served to the regular guests . It's a shame for a 4-star hotel to do something like that. Cleanliness and employees are excellent as always :)

Hotel Toplice is nice family hotel with good rooms and acceptable family restaurant. Thermal riviera is clean and warm for children. This is great place to spend with your family. We were in room 336 and we have poor wifi signal, unbelievable.

This hotel gives you the feeling of being in a time-warp. You are right back into the Slovenian communist era of somewhere around 1980. The exterior nor the interior design have been changed since then. This is actually rather funny though. Only, if you were expecting an 4* thermal hotel with wellness and spa you will be disappointed. For -to counterbalance the old and dilapidated interior- the pricelist of spa and wellness is not at all cheap. It is rather overpriced considering the atmosphere. Furthermore when we visited the saunas did not open until 16:00h. Why? No explanation was given. More the half of the offered massages and treatments could not be booked and this was not because of the busy agenda (the hotel wasn’t busy). We did not visit the big swim-circus nearby, so can’t comment on that. But as a spa/wellness/beautycenter it absolutely does not deserve 4*. Even 2 would be a stretch. But if you’d like to experience the communistic era you’ll have a laugh here.
