The property is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable with plenty of attention to detail. From a welcome note to bath amenities, as well as welcome treats, we enjoyed every minute and wish we had more time to enjoy the spa/pool and general relaxation on the property.

We came to the Farmhouse for a multi-generational "girls' trip" and it really delivered everything I was hoping for-- luxurious rooms and pool/fire pit areas, great food, excellent service-- laid back luxury which was perfect for my midwestern family. The concierge, Teresa, was amazing and arranged tastings for us at partner wineries and these were perfect too. It's an ideal location for exploring the Russian River area including cool towns, the redwoods and the coast. Highly recommend.

This was our third visit to Farmhouse Inn and may have been the best. It was our first visit since the Inn sold to Foley and we were concerned some of the service that makes the Inn special may have gone away but we were relieved that was not the case. We stay in Barn Junior Suites which are very spacious and far away from the highway and highly recommended. They each have an outside area as well. Before our stay Letisha the concierge helped us in a number of areas includes rides to dinner and to wineries, she was always very responsive. When available, Farmhouse Inn offers transportation via Volvo SUV’s to dinner within 20 minutes or so for $25 each way, a bargain in an area where Ubers are expensive and at times difficult to get. Reserve those in advance as they can book up early. Breakfast and lunch were very good, breakfast in particular. While the menu does not change from day to day, there are a half dozen selections all of which were extremely good. We are dinner at the restaurant one night, the food was very good, the price point a bit high but this is California. Service across the board could not have been better, including check in, luggage handling and meals. Some have mentioned that Farmhouse will nickel and dime resort fees and other charges, this is true but the high standard of service makes it tolerable.

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary and we had the most amazing trip. The property was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and everyone who works here was so kind and helpful, we honestly have never received better service. Letisha was so helpful weeks before we even arrived helping plan our itinerary and making all our reservations. Everywhere she suggested was absolutely amazing! We have already talked about wanting to go back and have recommended this place to our families. I cannot thank Letisha and the entire team here enough!

This quaint resort was the perfect getaway to experience some unique wineries and relax in a serene environment. Upon our arrival, to our surprise we were upgraded to a suite at the back of the property where it was private and quiet. The pool was pleasant to relax and take in some sun. The nightly wine tastings from partner wineries were an added bonus. We indulged in the 5 course chef tasting menu at the Farmhouse restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and they accommodated a veggie option. We will definitely be back to enjoy this incredible property in beautiful wine country!

Great service, food and accommodations. We were in room 9, cottage and it was quiet, comfortable and romantic. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit at night. Wonderful attention to details. The marshmallows were made from scratch. Home made soaps, and votive candles in the soaking tub. Heated floors in bathroom and steam shower. We canceled our dinner Reservations one night to have more time enjoying the smores, casual dinner at the hotel, and the wine tasting from 4:30-5:30. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We can’t wait to return. A true 5 star experience.

i dined at thier restaurant a few year ago, but the I stayed four nights this fall while visiting some Sonoma wineries (Lynmar and Small Vines). It’s a nice inn, with well appointed rooms. We enjoyed every evening when they brought in a different local winery each night for a tasting. Of course, we also ate the Michelin star restaurant which was quite enjoyable although it got a bit loud when they seated a group of four in the middle of a small room.

Upscale but low key, this property is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy fine dining and spa treatments while embracing a charming yellow hued farmhouse village surrounded by towering trees. We stayed in a Barn Junior Suite which was spacious and comfortable with features that included a couch, fireplace, beamed ceiling, and large walk in closet. The windowed bathroom had a big deep spa tub and a spacious steam shower. Outside was a private patio with café table and two chairs, plus two chairs in front of the double sided fireplace. While the room had a white color palate and exposures on three sides, it was light deprived at times because of all those tall trees nearby. A highlight of the hotel offerings is a nightly wine tasting hour hosted by a different local vineyard each late afternoon. We were so impressed one evening with the wine from Gary Farrell Vineyards that we actually stopped by their location the next day and made a purchase. Unfortunately we did not eat on site because the menus even for breakfast went beyond our more limited taste buds. But we did partake in the nightly s’mores offering. I also enjoyed swimming laps in the ample pool which is surrounded by loungers and gets good sunlight in the middle of summer. The pool however needs to be repainted and cushions on those loungers would be a nice upgrade. There is no gym on site, but there is a large spa. With only 25 rooms spread out over several buildings, the hotel always seemed tranquil which we appreciated. The staff was friendly and the location is convenient to many wineries and charming towns within a five minute drive or more. You can easily self-park, and there is no resort fee.
