Silver Lake is one of the premier all sport lakes in West Michigan with 225 acres and is rated highly in water quality. Only 5 miles from downtown Rockford and 16 miles from downtown Grand Rapids. The sandy bottom beach is great for swimming and water activities. A newer 2021 pontoon boat with a 60 hp engine is available for rent. I also have another property on the lake 12 houses away that is VRBO #710565. The cottage has about 1200 square feet with 3 bedrooms, two on the 2nd floor and one on the main. 2 full baths, one with a shower and the other with a tub/shower. Two 9 foot sliders provide a great view of the lake. The cottage has newer furniture and beds/mattresses with high quality sheets and amenities. The outside has a huge deck overlooking the water with only 5 steps down to the grass/beach and a large brick outdoor fireplace with Adirondack chairs for relaxing around a fire. The property comes with 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards, and a paddle boat. Sand toys for kids, corn hole, horseshoes, and life-jackets are included. The 20 foot pontoon boat with a 60 hp engine is available for rent with a capacity of 9 people. It can be reserved by either of my properties on the lake so it is possible it could be reserved by the other place. The rate depends on the time of year. Please inquire about pricing and availability. There are numerous recreational activities in the area, including parks, bike/hiking trails, and skiing. A variety of shops and restaurants are located within 1-5 miles. This is the 2nd property that I have available on the lake.
