Arrived late at night, around 11pm. The hotel is situated in one of the busiest parts of Delhi. There is so much traffic that cars hardly move. One would find it difficult to cross the road on foot. There is a small entrance to the hotel, we missed it first. It just did not look like a hotel. Once inside, you are in a narrow hallway. Could not be more than 6/7 foot wide. One might be mistaken that you are in the waiting room of a taxi/cab booking office back in London. Passed the check-in there is a 3 foot wide entrance towards the lifts. We had rented two rooms. Made a big mistake of not looking over the rooms before checking in. Once inside the room, we could not believe how cheap the furnishing was. Doorless cupboard, horrible bed lets not talk about the bathroom. It smelled. Whole place smelled of urine. My daughter and her partner who had the other room, walked out of the hotel. We could not think of spending the night there. Decided to cancel the booking. After 20 minutes of talking with staff, we ended up paying 25% of the booking fee. I don't know the people who have been giving positive reviews to this hotel. I do not know what a one star hotel would look like. I think this one might just make it. Please do not make the mistake we made. Book a hotel that is part of a chain of hotels with a good reputation.
