I honestly don't know where the 4 star rating came from. The hotel is charming and is somewhere between being vintage and simply being outdated, but it's definitely not more than 3 stars. The room was clean but very average, the windows are not sound proof, so we could hear every single conversation on the street and the breakfast was just bad. Dry buns, watery coffee, dried out cucumbers. The staff was friendly. We will not be back.

For biz trip purpose, always chose this hotel. No alternative in old town.

Not worth the 4 stars
This hotel is simply not worth the 4 stars.
There is no bar or table, where you can sit and work. There is no possibility for coffee in the hotel outside breakfast, and there is only 2 small bottles of water to drink. The furniture and the bed are not comfortable.
In general it is clean and the staff is friendly, but i expected a lot more from a 4 star hotel.

Business trip to Trutnov stayed 4 nights . Large room with good comfy bed and separate bathroom . No sound from outside . On first floor . Breakfast included was a great choice of fresh continental. Good size parking lot . Hotel fronts onto historic square

Hyggeligt hotel i hyggelig by
Hotellet ligger i fin afstand til Adrspach. Ligger midt i Trutnov ved torvet og den gamle bydel, med masser af restauranter omkring. Gratis Parkering lige udenfor hotellet.
