SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin Reviews

Saw lots of influencers raving about this place. The pool facilities are awesome. There was even an obstacle course for those who are seeking a different fun at the pool. The pool is suitable for toddlers and adults. Breakfast at white oven was good In room dining was relatively fast and efficient Overall a good resort Take note for most rooms, there are no elevators so you need to take the stairs, the bellboy are very helpful and they will help us with the luggages Just a quick note I’ll prefer to go for those independent restaurants outside of the resorts. The restaurant at huahin are really spacious and most comes with a view and it’s really relaxing for me. Highly recommend to search the area around to try. You can grab around easily.

Their in house dining not bad. Slightly expensive as compared to grab. Can grab food into hotel but collect at lobby.

This is the best pet friendly in Cha-am. Pet can use almost everywhere in the hotel. The hotel well prepare pet food, wet tissue and plastic bag. We love this place and will bring my dog here soon.

Beautiful resort and great activities for the kids and family!

What an absolutely unprofessional hotel. They dare to call themselves a 5-star hotel? Really? We paid around 7,500 THB per night, plus an extra 1,500 THB per night for our dog, and this is the kind of service we received? 1. The staff didn’t even know we had a dog? We were given the wrong building at check-in — fine, mistakes happen — but they promised us a dog bed, toys, and more. Guess what? None of it was provided, except a pack of dog food. That’s it. Just food. 2. The front desk was a disaster. We arrived at 3:30 PM, and had to wait over 30 minutes just to get into the room. The staff seemed completely detached, like they had zero understanding of what good service means. We called to ask for two glasses of wine, and they literally just brought us two empty wine glasses. Empty!When we checked out, no one told us that the 2,000 THB deposit was being voided. We clearly told them at check-in to deduct it from our bill, not void it. I had to find out myself during check-out. Completely unprofessional. 3. The beachside restaurant  We ordered the Tuna Tartare — it was disgusting. It tasted like dead fish, and we had to send it back. Even the chef came out to explain that the tuna was “fresh” and that “this is how they cook it,” and then apologized. the dessert (just ice cream and fruit) took over 30 minutes to arrive. Absolutely ridiculous. ( the staff at the White Oven were the only ones who were actually kind and professional.) 4. The room It was so noisy, we could hear people talking and closing doors next to us  On the first day, we told the maid the toilet light was broken. Nothing was fixed. We called the front desk and asked them to clean the room at 3:00 PM. When we came back at 3:30, no one had come. so I have to call them again. We went to the pool and came back at 4:30 — the maid had just arrived and was cleaning, but she didn’t change the duvet or pillow covers, and didn’t give us new towels. What kind of housekeeping is this? The only thing that lived up to “5-star” was the spa. That’s it. Absolutely disappointing and not worth the price. Never again

Positive: -Design of the hotel is very nice and very picture friendly. -Many activities for kids , especially the pool. -food is nice even if a bit pricey. Negative: -hotel is isolated from the city of hua hin (40km) -room air conditioner is too powerful and can’t adjust the temperature -sound isolation is poor -tiny access to the sea

Good for family with kid, 3 swimming pools and fabulous breakfast. Nice big bathroom with great rain shower.

SO/ Hua Hin is a superb retreat with stunning rooms, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities. The infinity pool, private beach access, and exquisite dining options make it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended for a luxurious and memorable stay.
