It is a small hotel with an intimate feel. As a foreigner, I had to fill in an additional excel form, but the staff used Wechat to communicate with me, and I was allowed to check in and complete the forms in my room. The hotel staff also provided the wechat account for a taxi driver to get to the North slope gate (30-45 minutes away, depending on traffic) and the account to purchase tickets to the mountain (you need to pick time to enter the work, and there are caps on the number of visitors per hour).
My room was bright and cheerful, with a remote-control activated toilet. Complimentary water was provided, but the room lacked a box of paper tissues (that was more of a surprise than an inconvenience).
I was pleased with the breakfast because I'm a vegetarian and there were many options.
The location is about a 12 minute walk from the main shipping street in town with restaurants.
