Lavande Hotel (Changchun Railway Station Square Branch)

The environment and hygiene are excellent, but most importantly, the hotel offers great convenience, especially for travelers relying on public transport. It's also close to Changchun Zoo and Botanical Garden, making it easy to get around to various places. I think it's a fantastic choice, especially for those who need to catch a train or bus.

When visiting Changchun, I wanted to stay somewhere close to the train station, so I chose the Lavande Hotel. I've stayed at their properties in other cities before, and as expected, Jinjiang's brands never disappoint. The environment is top-notch, and the service attitude is excellent. Most importantly, it's incredibly convenient for transportation, just a three-minute walk from the train station – you can't beat that! The area around is bustling, with plenty of dining options. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Changchun, especially for those needing to catch a train. Highly recommended!

The room layout was okay, but there was a strange odor upon entering, like a bathroom smell, and the ventilation wasn't great. The elevator was also incredibly small, felt like less than a square meter. However, the front desk service was quite good.

When I arrived, the front desk was quite friendly and even asked me to add them on WeChat for a good review. However, once I got into the room, none of the bedside outlets worked, and the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I called several times, and the staff and electrician came by a few times, but nothing helped. In the end, they just gave me an extension cord and a fan. They said the hotel was fully booked, so I couldn't switch rooms. I spent a night in a sauna-like room; it was incredibly hot! And at checkout, there was no compensation or explanation. How can anyone stay in a room without AC? The room temperature was at least ten degrees hotter than the hallway. This is the first time I've ever stayed in a hotel like this, and the heat was simply unbearable...

The hotel is right in front of Changchun Railway Station. The deluxe family room is spacious and gets good airflow, with windows on both sides. The overall service is decent. However, the curtains and lighting have too many 'smart' features that are unnecessarily complicated to control.

The transportation is excellent; it's just a 10-minute walk from the train station. The front desk staff were very attentive, and the hotel room was clean and tidy. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.
