The location is really convenient for anyone who likes to visit Wuyi Square (五一广场), Tai Ping Ancient Street (太平老街). The room is equipped with air-conditioning which is a lifesaver during summer. Shower gel, shampoo and bath towel is provided. Every backpacker is also given a digital locker and a pair of slippers to ensure comfort. Bed sheets are clean, with charging ports and a small foldable table. There's a place to hang your towel within each bed which is a plus point!

Many things were broken or empty: a shower head, shower gel, soap, a sink, a toilet wouldn't flush properly and most importantly the AC in my room didn't work. It was so hot inside and the air was unbreathable. To find all this in staying only one night. Wow. The staff and the bar were very nice. So was the live act on Saturday evening for free. The rest of the showers, toilets etc. worked very well. Just the not working AV led to a night of bad sleep. But with a working AV I would stay here again.

It's a good hostel, the dorms are big and beds are comfy. It's really close to the river which is nice to go see at night

It’s a good not great hostel. But probably the best in Changsha and I’d go back. The rooms and amenities are good. The social atmosphere can be hit and miss but it’s probably still the best place to meet people if you’re travelling.

Centrally located the beddings were clean and the restrooms were cleaned regularly

Staff was very helpful and friendly. But tbh I would not stay here again, they should really make more effort for cleanliness. Mattresses were very dirty and under the mattresses as well, apparently they don’t clean that area at all, some of the mattresses were even moldy. Also, some of the travelers would still smoke inside even though it’s prohibited. It’s not really social hostel so if you are looking for that this won’t be the place. With these improvements I think it has potential to be a good hostel!

It was nice. Typical shared rooms with curtains on bunks and curtains. Water and hot water was always available.

Great as always. Nice hangout area on the first floor and very quiet rooms. Also pretty close to a lot of the major attractions, but still far enough to not be crowded when leaving the door. There is also an external gym right next to the hostel.
