Marriott Properties in Changsha

First of all, a big thank you to Ada for the fantastic hospitality – she was incredibly nice! She called me a day in advance to check on my needs, which made me feel very welcome upon arrival. The hotel is new, and I enjoyed the pool, gym, and the massage on the 4th floor. The facilities and equipment were also excellent. Although it rained both days I was in Changsha, the high-floor view was still breathtaking. The staff member Lulu was super cute. However, there's definitely room for improvement in some other detailed services. I had planned to go for a swim before breakfast, but I was told I needed a swim cap to enter. So, I had to order one via delivery. But when I re-entered, another staff member didn't even ask about the swim cap. By the time I rushed through my swim, it was already 9:45 AM. When I got to the restaurant, the staff didn't inform me to get food first, and by 10 AM sharp, all the food and tongs were removed. I was left with just a pile of beans and braised eggs, which meant I left breakfast feeling hungry. Secondly, the hotel doorman was a bit harsh. It was raining on the day of my departure, so I parked by the entrance to get my luggage, but I was sternly told I couldn't park there. This wasn't a great experience.
