Half Bath Kitchen: Fully stocked, with granite countertops, beautiful brick floors, all stainless-steel appliances, and a table seating 6. Dining Room: Table seats 10-12. Bedroom 1/Office Combo: Twin daybed, computer desk and chair, ceiling fan. Bathroom 2: Full bathroom with large walk-in shower, tiled floor, pedestal sink. Attached to Bedroom 1/Office. *Second Floor: 15 steps up from the main level. Upstairs Master Suite: Sleigh-style King bed, ceiling fan, 40” TV, non-working fireplace, and a twin futon in the sitting area, between master bedroom and master bathroom. Upstairs Master Bath: Large walk-in, with shower, claw bathtub, tiled floors, double vanity. Washer and Dryer: Located in the master bathroom. Upstairs Bedroom 3: King bed, desk, 50” TV. Guest has access via a lock box. The lock box code will be sent to you the night before your arrival and will be changed after you leave. There is no access to the front door, and it is not to be used. *YMCA Access: We have worked it out with the YMCA that our guests can use their facilities for free for up to 7 consecutive days, using their 7-Day Free Pass. They have multiple locations with pools, gyms, tennis courts, racquetball courts, etc. You can also use the YMCA’s in Durham and Chapel Hill. We will not be available in person but are available through the messenger any time. We have a team of people that will respond within 5-10 minutes. If you have a special event or gathering request, we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. If there is evidence that a non-approved party/gathering has been thrown, you will be assessed an extra cleaning fee up to $500. -Overnight Guests: Please make sure you enter the accurate overnight guest count when booking. As you can imagine, when 1-2 people spend the night, the wear and tear on the house is far less than when additional guests are in the house. Although this property can sleep more than 2 guests, the base price is for 2 people. There is a $15 per night price increase for each additional guest staying in the house over 2 people (the exception is for infants under 12 months.) Putting in your accurate overnight guest numbers PRIOR to booking will ensure you can see what the correct price will be for your stay. -Visitors: We are perfectly fine with you having family or friends visit you during your stay. If you are planning to have more than 2 visitors who will NOT be spending the night, please let us know. At no point can there be more people at the property than the maximum house capacity listed. (For example: if the house sleeps 8 and allows you to book for 8 people, then there can never be more than 8 people at the property – even if they are just visitors stopping by.) If this rule is not abided by, there will be a $40 fee per unapproved visitor. -Fire/Smoke: It is a property rule that there are to be no fires, candles, smoking or burning of any kind in the property. Our cleaning company charges a $200 fee if there is any indication of any form of burning/smoke in the house. Fireplaces- All fireplaces are non-working and should not be used. -Excessive mess: If the property is left excessively dirty there will be a $100 fee for extra cleaning. -Late check-out fee: Late check-outs are allowed only if explicitly approved. If approved prior to arrival, you can check-out as late as 11:00 a.m. with no charge. There is a $25 charge per hour if we extend anytime beyond 11:00 a.m. and the latest we can let someone checkout is 1:00 p.m. -Guests must provide a working telephone number. If the telephone number does not work, then the reservation can be canceled without a refund. -We will always go above and beyond for you. That said, if you have a complaint about any aspect of the property (amenities, cleanliness, etc.) upon sharing the complaint with us or vrbo you are authorizing us to come into the property to fix it. (We will always attempt to call you before entering to fix the problem.) -Any house rules broken are grounds for immediate cancellation of reservation and departure from the property without refund. Note: For Security Deposits, VRBO collects these funds and returns them to you if the property is not damaged. As the host we do not receive these funds. Please remember to declare the total number of guests in your booking, including children aged 2 and up, in accordance with Vrbo policy. This helps us ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.
