Great amenities , great family atmosphere, comfortable rooms, bathroom very clean, breakfast was wonderful, located in a great area. Coffee shops and other eateries nearby.

The best things about the Hampton Inn were the location and the hotel employees. The hotel is 15 minutes to half an hour walk from Charleston’s major attractions, including shopping, and twenty minutes from the airport. Charleston is made for walking. It is compact, clean and safe, so we walked everywhere. The attitude of the front desk employees epitomized southern hospitality. The hotel offers free breakfast which is basic, but satisfying. Room cleaning is offered upon request.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location, walking to everything we did was easy. Beautiful outdoor seating area, generous breakfast options, coffee 24/7. Overall an excellent visit.

Staff were very good and they went the extra mile to cater for missing amenities and information, No microwave, no mini fridge, no kettle, no lock box and a huge $42 per night to park which was not mentioned on the web. I have medicines which need refrigerating and the staff kindly accommodated me by placing them in the employee fridge along with milk and orange juice which we brought. The "excuse" for no fridges in the rooms is that they gobble too much electricity. (This even though the hungriest mini fridge runs around 100 watts : about the same as a light bulb)

Very, very old very very beat up very very dirty very very marked up and ripped up and spotted and stained and the cleaning staff doesn't talk to the front desk really not good or the maintenance stack air conditioning broke for two days took forever to get it fixed horrible

Everybody was friendly. Everything was clean. Breakfast was nice. It was close to everything and especially the free city buses across the street was wonderful and convenient. Will come back for sure.
