The house is in the perfect location to walk around downtown! Such a cute vibe and such friendly staff who are ready to recommend restaurants and hikes!

Liz and Stephan were wonderful hosts!! I had to travel to Charlevoix for my mothers funeral... Liz and Stephan made me feel comfortable and welcome during a difficult time. The bathroom plumbing (sink has liw pressure, toilet runs, showerhas an "aggressive " leak...) needs some attention. But overall i would absolutely recommend the Charlevoix House! Clean, safe, comfortable and very reasonably priced!!

We stayed there Friday and Saturday night.
Great experience.
Very quaint bed and breakfast.
The inn keepers were Stefan (sorry if wrong spelling) at night and Liz in the morning. Both were very helpful and friendly.
Liz made a good breakfast.
Right downtown Charlevoix easy to walk along the waterfront, shops, and restaurants.
We will be staying there when we visit family.

We noted the property is currently up for sale when we arrived. The suite room we stayed in was somewhat barren for a bed and breakfast and the room had a window air conitioner in place in October that was letting in a lot of cold air. They did provide us with a space heater. The breakfast buffet, which was tasty, was laid out on the dining table where we were eating. There was only seating for 6 yet the occupants of the house were at least double that. The properties location was very good, with a short walk to town.

It was nice, and clean. It did not feel very homey, like some B&Bs. Breakfast was also different… mostly store bought food and self-serve. Internet was good. TV was terrible… could not even get a free local news station. Had to log in my own Amazon Prime account. No 24/7 coffee (unless you raided the kitchen and made your own), no special treats like a cookie at check-in. For the price, I was disappointed, and would not recommend to those who typically savor a B&B experience.

Disappointed! No one greeted us and found the evening staff in a room playing video games. TV wireless connection went out several times during the evening. Need to connect it directly via wire Internet. Wireless connection was difficult to connect on our computers. Only one electrical outlet with six plugs (one with an extension cord for the far side of the bed). Heard the traffic outside throughout the night. Floors squeezed when walked on. The bottom outside of the shower looked dirty and rusty. Breakfast was good but no one served and had to locate all by ourselves. No handicap access. All stairs to get into the house and to the bedrooms.
