Residence Inn Charlotte Uptown

Shower didnt work all 3 night we stayed there. Had to wash my hair in the kitchen sink before going out for the day, couldnt wash my body. Had a staff member in our room every single day trying to fix the shower. One told us to use pliers to turn it on and off, we asked where do travellers get pliers from? Not once did anyone come to clean our room. We had to beg for fresh towels every day because the staff would use out towels when trying to fix the shower and just leave them on the floor along with muddy footprints. Paid for a premium King suite and got a 2 Star hotel experience.

Check in was easy. The room exceeded our expectations. Spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. We'd asked for an upper floor room, and the check in staff came through! The view was great!

The staff, especially the front desk, were super nice. We like our room and the free breakfast was good.

The staff was great. It was my birthday and they got me a small cake. also got me a Panthers t-shirt. was really surprised. the breakfast bar was the best I have ever seen. the room had a full kitchen, which I was not expecting. If I ever go back to Charlotte I will stay at this hotel.

Unable to take advantage of the $25 parking rate, due to a soccer game and the fact the parking lot had set the parking fee at $40. Went to breakfast and there was very little food available; seemed they could not keep up with the number of people who were staying at the hotel.

Yes the breakfast menu and staff was excellent. The fire alarm being pulled at 6:30 am was frightening.

Staff were super helpful! Fast check in! Room was spacious and clean!

I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for parking. Other than that everything was excellent

Great place! Our stay was great. The hotel is conveniently located literally 5 minutes from the football stadium! The room was excellent as was the staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
