Super 8 by Wyndham Charlotte/Amusement Park Area

It was a cozy place that had a restaurant close by that is open 24/7. Very close to carowinds

The location was spot on for the purpose of our visit to the Charlotte area. The room was small, the tv did not work, no microwave, old furniture, old a/c unit with rust and mold. The ceiling was full of dark blackish dust of sorts, the lamp shades cracked and dingy. This was our second room because the initial room we were checked into was not ready and the entire curtain unit was on the floor. Overall a bad hotel, but served its purpose for a weekend stay. Location is everything for us when we travel, but I write these reviews for the folks who want and need the amenities to be on point. For 76 bucks a night I guest you can’t really expect much to be honest.

Room floor had dirt and debris. Wall in bathroom where outlet socket is damaged. Shower tub squeaked whenever you stand in or move around

Poor service , desk clerk wanted to write all of my card onfo on a piece of paper , a roach ran across the desk when i turned the light on , ceiling leak.

Room was in the middle of needing repairs. One of the headboards was off the wall and leaning up in the corner. Safety issue. Mold found in crevices of shower in the bathroom.

Room was clean, but severely outdated. “Breakfast” was your choice of apple or orange juice, coffee and store bought Otis Spunkmeyer muffins. There’s a Waffle House across the parking lot, so that’s a plus.

All staff not good and including breakfast but no breakfast only juice and i online books room no smoking but hee give me smoking room and bad small 👎👎👎👎

Stayed here for one night for a concert. I do believe you get what you pay for and it being $60 a night it was worth the $60 but… out of three lights in the living area. Only one of them worked, the outlet at the bed did not work. The hairdryer did not work, and the lock on the door was very wobbly. But the room itself was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The heating and air-conditioning worked. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. A TV a nice bathroom and shower although I did not get the chair out of the shower since it did not have a hairdryer that worked. Overall, the property was relatively safe had a lot of parking spaces. It had proper lighting everywhere and it was easy to get to. It was right next to a waffle house within walking distance not 100% sure I would stay there again but the one night that I had to stay there, it was pretty good.
