Overall, it was excellent! The staff were all very kind and polite, and they were always willing to help with any reasonable request. It would be perfect if the room had a small coffee table. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Okinawa.

The hotel's location is pretty good, very convenient for traveling with kids. However, the bed in the room was too soft, and I felt like I was sinking in while trying to sleep. As for hygiene, when I entered the room, I wasn't sure if the pillowcase hadn't been changed or if that was just its color, but it looked like there was foundation on it, and there was also a strand of hair. I hope they can improve on this.

The room is just right for couples. Nice sea view during high tide. Lots of parking lots behind the hotel. Can bring less clothings as there are washing machine and dryer. The staffs were friendly. Toiletries provided beside the front counter. Can ask the staff for extra bottle water. Exchange clean towels anytime. Complimentary simple breakfast provided is a plus. The only “complaint” is that bed is too soft for seniors like us. Other than this everything was great.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to American Village. The B&B has parking spaces, and the staff are friendly! The room offers a sea view, but I'm not sure if it's because of being so close to the sea, but the entire room felt damp and sticky. The mattress was too soft (my whole body felt like it sank in). I'm not sure if it was mosquitoes or mites, but my neck was bitten and became red and swollen!

Facing the ocean with fantastic views, we could even watch the sunset, and there's a seawall promenade for leisurely strolls. It's just a 15-minute walk along the seawall to American Village. The hotel also has ample parking space behind it. Being set back from the road, it's very quiet at night, making it a truly enjoyable place for a vacation.

I booked a twin room but was given a double. The bed was a bit small for two people. When I asked if they could change it to a twin, they said no because there were no rooms available. So I went back down to the front desk with my booking confirmation and complained, and they eventually changed it to a twin. There's a big supermarket/drugstore across the main road in front of the hotel. I asked about a convenience store and they told me it was a 10-minute walk, but honestly, you don't need to bother with it.

The sea view room was lovely, but the cleanliness needs improvement. Many small areas weren't very clean.

Stayed for 5 nights for USD$528 as a family with a toddler in Jan 2026. Pros: Good value given its excellent location and made for a good base in Chatan. The waterfront was at our doorstep (stone steps rather than beach) and we got to see the sunset. Stay on a Saturday night and get to see the 8pm fireworks from your room. Lots within short driving range, restaurants and Aeon Chatan. Hotel staff were friendly and amenities were sufficient for our needs. There was a complimentary light breakfast with coffee of extremely diluted juice, along with a tiny pastry heated up. Cons: This was by far the worst hotel bed we’ve slept on. The bed was too soft and caused leg pain for my husband as a result he slept in the sofa bed, which opened into an “n” shape with the top and bottom sinking down. There was also a hard metal rod in the frame. We tried requesting for an extra duvet to make it more comfortable for him and was quoted ¥3000 for it. The room was old and dusty and floor didn’t feel clean and area underneath the bed was dusty. We shifted the bed to make space for the toddler to play and as a result we sneezed all night. The sea view was nice but as we only paid for a mid-level floor, people could easier look in hence we kept our blinds closed most of the time. We asked ourselves if we would ever visit again given the good location and view but sadly we decided no as my husband fell sick often during that stay due to poor sleep.

The place is about 5min drive to the American Village. It's actually a long walk to the village even though the people tells u it's just near by. You can walk... If you are a Singaporean, double confirm chop, you should drive. Our walking distance for far and near is very very different from the Japanese and Koreans, or most other countries. Due to our efficient public transport system, we are spoilt. We don't really walk that much, so conserve your energy for exploration and shopping, not walking. 😄 This hotel has staff that speaks excellent English, a refreshing change after a few days in Okinawa. They provide a simple free breakfast and have a separate showroom and WC. The shower room is really tiny. But the overall stay is very comfortable. It's definitely worth a repeat booking.
