We ate dinner here on Christmas Eve and the food was great, with huge portions. Options for alcohol were good. Service was excellent and they went above and beyond to help my children who fell asleep at the table. Affordable prices and a nice quiet atmosphere.

Just got home from our 4 night stay at Le Kandahar Hotel and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Upon arrival Allain gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the hotel. It was the perfect place to stay for our skiing holiday. Firstly, the steam and sauna was lovely after a long day of skiing. Secondly, the food was amazing! We only ate in the restaurant once, but the burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The restaurant always seemed lively with a good atmosphere. Lastly, the hotel and room was always clean and well maintained. All the staff were very polite and friendly. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!! Thank you Allain and all the staff at Le Kandahar Hotel.

We have been visiting the Kandahar regularly for seven years and have always had exceptional meals and service. Having eaten at many restaurants in Châtel, both on and off the mountain, the Kandahar remains our firm favourite and chosen location for family occasions. A big thank you to Florence and family for the wonderful hospitality and memorable meals.

Great Food , had the chicken and steak , which was cooked at the table , lots of rice, salad and chips. Had lovely deserts with fantastic service and nothing was too much trouble. Great Venue and special shout out to the waiting staff

We took a group of family and friends for a meal in the restaurant. We were not the easiest group to accommodate, with four coeliacs and one lactose free. They could not have been more helpful - taking the time to check that everything was gluten free or milk free as needed. We had a wonderful meal - thank you.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à l’hôtel. L’accueil chaleureux et convivial, les services hammam et Sauna sont très appréciés. L’hôtel est très propre, en revanche la literie très moyenne . Le restaurant est chaleureux et authentique. Le petit déjeuner est complet et top ! Je recommande cet hôtel .

Après une journée de ski nous sommes venu manger au Kandahar.Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique, plats très bon et copieux , belle découverte sur Chatel. Nous avons passé un très bon moment Je recommande vivement ce restaurant facile d’accès.
