Very charming country house with large garden and refreshing pool area. Beautifully renovated rooms in genuine 19-century luxury style. Excellent dinner menu cooked in a homely fashion. Even perfect for families. Very freindly owners. Close the Loire walking/biking trail.

Great! Great, welcoming hosts. Opulent breakfast, everything is tastefully decorated. Cora has concocted everything for the well-being of her guests. We enjoyed a very nice spacious room, very nice bathroom.

Le Clos Marie is a calm and relaxing place. The welcome is very warm, and the hosts are attentive and available. The meals and breakfasts are excellent. Our room was comfortable and as described. On site, the swimming pool and the green cycle path allow total relaxation. We will come back with pleasure.

on June 18, 2022, after traveling 700 km in oppressive heat of "39°" we arrived at our destination at "CLOS MARIE" in IGUERANDE, when we made our reservation we had specified that we had a Saint Bernard dog. on our arrival we were a little disappointed by the lack of maintenance of a wooded park which could be superb; we look for a place to park the car in the shade and go around the building. To our great astonishment no one came forward!!!! until the moment when a woman's half-awakened face passes through the half-open door...... and then our poor dog got a full face and it's true to say: I quote "yes but here our customers are looking for calm" "your dog is really huge" "how are you going to arrange the room?" at this the lady's gentleman appears and gives a new coat: "15 days ago we already had problems with dogs in the neighborhood" "our customers relax here and should not be disturbed" etc etc... they still offered to show us the room, the only problem was our dog PRINZ, because seeing the faces they both made we could see that he was not welcome, so to compensate for this situation I decided to tie Prinz to a tree in order to have more freedom. our dog, never tied up, immediately started barking which caused a strong reaction against him from them, the mustard started to sting my nose and the irritation was gaining on me and I put Prinz back in the car. So we visit the room, very basic indeed, and not at all corresponding to the photo on their site (I think it was certainly a "special" room for dog owners). after only 2 to 3 minutes left alone in this room we decided by mutual agreement, my wife and I, to leave this place where we were not welcome; on our way down from the 1st floor we meet the lady, who does not even deign to turn around, and we announce to her "we are leaving, our dog will not be well here and neither will we, not to see you again" "you can keep our reservation of 40 euros "and we are gone and relieved so pet owners, move on, this place really does not deserve a stopover, especially a stay, an obvious lack of know-how to give a professional welcome!!!! ! this review is written in all honesty and truth

An excellent welcome, very pleasant and well appointed rooms, the calm, the meal. Everything is done to ensure peace of mind. We recommend and more. We had such a relaxing stay.
