Hotels near S.M.K. Mahal, Chengalpattu

It is a good stay. This is our 2nd time staying here. We chose here for 2 reasons; breakfast and value for money, but breakfast wasn't as good as it was during our first stay. Front staff were good, especially Aadhi and Samporna. Check-in and out were smooth. In room dining food was good. The room was soundproof, good, clean, and adequate with amenities, Thanks to Jittu, who takes care of that floor, and he is friendly too. Adyar A2B, Nandhana's, shopping shops, near to beach. Just note that it is pretty far to many popular places in the city, especially during peak, traffic can get chaos and take almost an hour but a good place if you are visiting mahabhalipuram or en route to Pondicherry. Overall, I recommend it. Nice stay.

Very clean , such wonderful experience at GST welcomhotel , it will be great if water pressure from showerhead can be more strong.

Thank you very much for the warm and hospitable staff of ibis sipcot, I had a great week in Chennai. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff at the hotel are amazing! There is a big shopping mall near the hotel and there is a big supermarket in it. Walk for 10-15 minutes. The road in India is a bit difficult to walk. Actually there is a juice bar next to it, and you can buy evaluated drinks and water

Good hotel. Close to kilambakkam bus stand and easy access to oragadam, padappai. Rooms are good and the hotel is wheel chair friendly. Staff is polite and courteous.

It was a good room, clean, walls were bit dirty but that's okay. Not very spacious but not small either. Had basic amenities like towel, tooth kit, soap, shampoo. Best thing was it's location. Right on main road. There are few quite good restaurants within 1 km radius.

I arrived at chennnai at night so I used this hotel. It is about 5 minutes by auto rickshaw from the airport. It's about 200 rupees on Uber, but be careful because it's said to be 1000 rupees on a bargaining auto rickshaw. The hotel is old, but it's enough to sleep. The air conditioner works, and the shower also has hot water. Also, breakfast will be given a coupon at the front desk. I have to tell you. It was Meals.

I know this place from very long time. Ambience is soo good and rooms were near and clean. Best place to stay in budget.

When we arrived, we were given a room that was around 70 sq. Ft smaller than what we had booked, reason given was no availability of rooms, but that defeats the whole purpose of advanced booking. Had to spend one out of three nights in that room, and no refund was provided. Dissatisfied.

The hotel is near to Chennei International Airport. The hotel provides complimentary pick and drop to airport. The staff are well behaved. They inform details about the stay at the time of checkin. Rooms were clean and organized. Overall good stay near airport.
