Lume White · Childhood Fun Hidden Luxury Parent Child Homestay (Chengdu Panda Base Branch)

Pros: Very good service and friendly staff, especially if you speak Chinese. The place is relatively close to the picture, with moderate wear and tear. Comfortable bed and toilet, clean bathroom I really liked the disposable towel as I don't have to worry about the cleaners of the towels. The view was clear without obstacles from our room. Cons: Things thats on the TV console should be on the shelf, especially hot water boiler as kids could easily touch it and getting burned. The room is clean, but it's in a dated and old, rather depressing apartments compounds. No dryer, washing machine was difficult to use as there was No WAY I would get onto the filthy balcony to access the washing machine. No microwave, you have to ask the service ppl to microwave for you. (They are happy to do that) This was rather important, as the heater was only in the bedroom, we couldn't close the bedroom during the night as the kids sleeping in the living room would get too cold.also there was a raft from the kids window. We stayed during the moderately warm autumn, but this would worry me during the winter. (Only stayed in the red panda room)

Nice apartment near the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (just about 10 minutes for a walk).

This was the perfect place for our family to stay to visit the Panda Base. It's just a 5 minute walk. The kids absolutely looooooooved the slide and ball pit. I mean, I was shocked how much they loved it. They even wanted to sneak in a quick play before a very early 7am check out. They still talk about this place. When we first arrived, the prior guests had only just checked out - super late - and left the apartment in an absolutely horrendous state. It was like a rock band had just left. Terrible. Please, don't be those guys if you stay here. The two caretaker girls, however, worked diligently to get the place clean and inviting again. It meant we had a very late check in, but given how much work they had to do, we were happy to wait. And so, our stay, which could have been a disaster thanks to the prior guests' inconsiderate behavior, turned out to be perfect for us. Thank you to those two girls for their hard work. 👍🏻👍🏻
