I stayed here for three nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment I walked in, the vibe felt calm, modern, and tucked away, exactly what you want from a boutique stay in the middle of Chengdu. What I loved most was the view, especially at night. Watching the city lights reflect off the river felt like having my own private slice of Chengdu. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause, breathe, and realize you’re somewhere special. The room itself was cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The little touches made the stay feel more personal, way better than the big chains. I only wished my room had a heated toilet seat, which I have grown accustomed to at other hotels in China. And the location? Perfect. Taikoo Li, Hejiangting, and all the fun areas were within easy reach, but the hotel still felt peaceful and hidden away from the noise. If you want a stay that gives you comfort, aesthetics, privacy, and beautiful nighttime views, The Hidden House is an easy yes. I would absolutely stay here again.
