It is a very comfortable hotel, especially for foreigners who are not familiar with Chinese cuisine, and especially the spicy cuisine of Sichuan. As the rooms have a kitchen! There is a 2-burner gas stove, plenty of cupboards, a small refrigerator, and some rooms have a microwave. In order for the stove to be turned on, you need to ask the reception, sign a security paper, and the staff will turn on the gas. The only thing is that there are no dishes in the kitchen, nothing at all (( but we had a small saucepan with us, and we bought a frying pan at Ikea for 330 rubles, since we lived here for about two weeks, and it fully paid off. You can ask for plates in the dining room. The breakfasts are varied, but Chinese cuisine prevails, but there is plenty to choose from. Some rooms also have a washing machine, which is simple but does the laundry. It's true that you can only dry in the bathroom, and it dries for a long time, but these are details, the climate in Chengdu is humid, keep in mind. There is also a Walmart nearby, where you can buy everything you are used to, including household goods, open until 22:00. And of course, the staff will always help you, for example, to order delivery, etc. A very pleasant impression, I recommend it.

The Jinkai International Apartment (Wenshu Monastery Branch) in Chengdu boasts an excellent location, right next to Wenshu Monastery Subway Station, and within walking distance of popular attractions like Wenshu Fang and Chunxi Road. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with comfortable Mousse mattresses, a refrigerator, and a washing machine. Some room types even offer picturesque views of Wenshu Fang. The 24-hour butler service is attentive and thoughtful, and the front desk was flexible in arranging an early check-in. For relaxation, there's a rooftop bar and a tea house on the fourth floor, and guests can enjoy the complimentary gym on the third floor. The surrounding area is a foodie's paradise, with establishments like Gongting Taosu (Palace Pastry) and Tan Ya Xue Hot Pot just a short walk away. With such great value for money, it's an ideal base for exploring Chengdu.

This was my first hotel stay in Chengdu. The location is super convenient, with lots of local eateries and tea houses nearby. Wenshu Monastery is just a short walk to the right from the entrance. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, ensuring a very comfortable stay. A special shout-out to the housekeeper on the 22nd floor, who worked tirelessly every day and was incredibly helpful.

Very good hotel

I stayed in Chengdu for 5 nights during my annual leave. Upon entering, I found the room a bit small, but it came with a refrigerator, a washing machine, and even a drying rack for clothes, which was very handy. However, I'd like to point out a few issues that I hope can be improved: 1. The shower's glass door felt wobbly, so I was afraid to move it. 2. There might have been mosquitoes or some kind of tiny biting insects in the room, as both my wife and son got bitten. Lighting mosquito coils had little effect. 3. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor and kept lagging badly. I reported it to the front desk and asked them to fix it, but there was no improvement. Eventually, I just gave up trying.

The reception staff were incredibly warm and helpful. As we were a family needing to do laundry, the front desk proactively found us a room with a washing machine. Room 1218 was very spacious and featured a small balcony, perfect for drying clothes. Inside the wardrobe near the balcony, there were two extra duvets and a clothes drying rack. The adjacent table was cleverly designed to fold out from the cabinet with a simple pull, which was very convenient. Upon entering, directly opposite the bed, a wide, long table beneath the TV provided ample space for belongings. However, the TV was quite outdated, only offering standard channels with no streaming apps or screen-casting capabilities. A sofa and a small coffee table were also available by the bed. The kitchenette area included a small fridge and a sink, though a microwave was noticeably absent. While the bathroom was generally compact and the shower had excellent water pressure, the shower stall itself was quite small. I wouldn't recommend this room for families with small children requiring assistance with bathing, as the shower stall is really only suitable for one person. We noticed slow drainage in the shower on our first day. After mentioning it to the housekeeping staff the next morning, the issue was promptly resolved, and the drainage was much improved by our evening shower – very efficient problem-solving. All essential toiletries and a hairdryer were provided, but disposable toilet seat covers were not. The bedding was spotless. We stayed for four nights and opted out of daily linen changes, but bathroom towels, teabags, and bottled water were replenished daily by the incredibly friendly and attentive housekeeping team – truly commendable service! With three elevators, waiting times were never an issue. For food delivery, guests are required to pick up their orders from a designated table in the ground floor lobby. Stepping out and turning right immediately leads to Wenshu Fang, home to a popular Imperial Walnut Cake shop – a historic Chengdu brand with constant queues. A further 5-minute walk straight ahead brings you to the convenient Wenshu Monastery. While the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk, taking a taxi from the hotel to various Chengdu attractions is both affordable and convenient. Overall, during the peak summer season, we were thoroughly pleased to secure such a comfortable room with excellent service. This hotel will definitely be our first choice for our next visit to Chengdu.

Nothing to complain about: great location, very good service, and a washing machine available. I would definitely recommend it.

Spacious Suite & Fantastic Location - A Hidden Gem! We were very happy with our stay at Jinkai International Apartments. We booked the two-bedroom suite, and it was incredibly spacious—perfect for our needs. My initial concern about the location being "far from everything" was completely unfounded! It turned out to be a great spot, conveniently close to a wonderful temple and vibrant walking streets packed with excellent eateries. My only negative was the surprising policy regarding the security deposit: they did not accept Visa or Mastercard. For a large international establishment, this was quite a shock. Despite that minor inconvenience, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I loved my stay! The rooms are lovely. All of the staff were so wonderful and accommodating. I cannot recommend a hotel more highly.

I came to Chengdu with my friends and booked a room in advance. The location is convenient and it's near Wenshu Monastery. There are also many good restaurants nearby. The room is fully equipped, clean and tidy. There is also a refrigerator and washing machine. I stayed here for several days. It is worth mentioning that the manager in the lobby of the hotel is very professional and service-minded.

Really enjoyed my stay at Jinkai Apartment! Stayed for 10 days. Clean and comfortable room with daily cleaning, nice breakfast, great location in near center district with pedestrian street with shops and cafes and also Wenshu Monastery. I would like to thank the friendly staff and especially Chanler that speaks English at reception that helped a lot with finding a back, calling a taxi and even renting a bike :)

we take the 2 bedroom unit, the services is very good, we through trip.com to book the 2 room, and request add on bed, the front counter try their best to solve all our problem, although take a few time, but the staff be very kind and polite. thank you very much. Just the cleanliness, need to improve cause we saw the crewgum stick at the cabinet and the candy skin leave at sofa. then the freezer & washing machine look like long time no use, a bit old. then our unit come with kitchen, but no pot, no dish, no any accessories, so we cant use also. Totally the hotel is good and will recommend to my friends.
