Wenjun Courtyard Hotel (near metro station, English-speaking service, travel agency)

The room was clean and tidy with stylish decor, comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and housekeeping service was prompt and friendly. There was plenty of hot water, stable WiFi, and good quality toiletries. The location was convenient, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again! Highly recommended!

Staying at Wenjun Mansion during the ***** New Year of the Horse was an amazing experience! The ancient-style courtyard design, with its red walls and black tiles, was filled with a festive atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for photos. Booking the New Year's Eve dinner was easy, and the dishes were authentic. The staff were warm and attentive, showing great attention to detail. It truly lives up to its reputation as a historic courtyard hotel. I'll definitely be back!

The environment is lovely and I really enjoyed the style. It's a great place to relax at lunchtime, where you can eat in the restaurant, enjoy a cup of tea, and even experience traditional Hanfu. It's perfect for tourists, super comfortable and a five-star recommendation! 🥰🥰

From the first moment I saw pictures of this hotel, I fell in love with its elegant, antique, and charming vibe. My stay only deepened that affection. The street outside is lined with ancient trees, quiet and clean. The hotel's entrance gate is classically grand, and even more beautiful when lit up at night. To find such a tranquil, almost time-travel-like retreat amidst the bustling streets, I truly felt lucky to have chosen the right place. What's more, the hotel is only about 200 meters from Tonghuimen Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Kuanzhai Alley is within walking distance, and it's not far to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, with ride-sharing services being super convenient and affordable. The courtyard itself is dotted with various cozy seating areas, with lush greenery and vibrant flowers everywhere, creating a fresh, elegant, and very comfortable atmosphere. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were all warm and attentive, and there were even greeters at the entrance to help with luggage and escort us upstairs – every aspect of the service was incredibly thoughtful. The room offered great value for money. We stayed in a twin room, which was clean and tidy, equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a kettle, a smart toilet, and a hairdryer, with hot water readily available for showering. Each day, they thoughtfully provided complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water. Having stayed for 7 days, this was by far the most comfortable and satisfying travel experience I've had. If only I had more time, I would have loved to extend my stay for a few more days, as I didn't get a chance to sit in the courtyard, sip tea, and sample the hotel's cuisine. I'll definitely make up for that small regret on my next visit! 🥰🥰

Stayed at this hotel for three nights in January 2026. I had originally booked a room on the first floor, but upon check-in, the front desk recommended a fourth-floor room, which had a beautiful and atmospheric view from the outdoor corridor. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby offered complimentary Sydney pear soup and chrysanthemum tea at all times. The hotel restaurant had a wide variety of dishes, and the food tasted excellent. It was a really great stay, and if I get the chance to visit Chengdu again, I would likely choose to stay here.

The courtyard is elegant and quiet, and the hotel service is excellent. The room facilities are complete and clean. There are also parks and a subway station nearby, all very close to the attractions, which is really convenient.
