POSHPACKER Local Tea Hostel

I stayed at Poshpacker Hostel and had a mixed experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they provided free daily changes of bedsheets and towels. There were also plenty of complimentary bottled water available, which was a nice touch. The location was convenient, but the cleanliness could be improved, and I didn’t find the bed very comfortable. Overall, it offers good value for budget travelers, especially with the thoughtful amenities and helpful service.

Overall it's a nice place. It's extremely close to the subway, which is very convinient. The staff have good English, the rooms are clean. There was always hot water.

The hostel is conveniently located just above the metro station and 3 minutes’ walk from the coach station. There are quite a number of eateries nearby. There’s a supermarket downstairs and a snacks supermarket steps away. Wifi works well and hot water works well. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel is located in such a lousy building, but it is a well equipped hotel. You just name it, they have almost everything. For iron, you need to request. English speaking staff is also very helpful, and I even managed to order online shopping and arrived right before my check-in time. They have a dedicated parcel area and you need to find the parcel yourself. As at my latest stay (end of May 2026), the building is having a renovation. Hence, waiting time for the elevator may take some time (not more than 5 mins). But the worst is during one of the nights, the elevator is closed for maintenance!! We had to take the stairs all the way to level 5
